Whose was this? Trois-Rivieres? I love weird geometric/abstract Q designs.

Kitchener Rangers should be using that ranger head crest for sure. Clear ripoffs of NHL teams don't cut it anymore and never should have. They can keep the name without playing dress-up.

I would love to time warp "men's men" like John Wayne or General Patton to 2012 and take them out on the town.

Great, unique color scheme, fantastic jersey design. One of my favorite looks in all of hockey.

EDIT: Looks like Lights Out beat me to it! :P

I'm redesigning the NHL!

The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right.

I know they want to look like the New York Rangers, but how this is not the primary yet is beyond me.

They seem to be wearing them less this year than last year. I hope it's nowhere near the end of these jerseys.

Why would they do that? That sweater is awesome.

Just wanted to say, that they are not trying to be the Rangers. They used to be owned by the Rangers, but when the NHL ended sponsorship of junior teams, they offered the team to Eugene George for $1.00.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

This is a throwback Chicoutimi Sagueneens jersey. They used to wear this funky design back in the 70's.

I completely agree with you, but then again I live in Brampton and go to a ton of games, so it might be a little bias, lol.

It would look nice as a Lightning jersey, too.

wow. i thought this was a thunderbirds alternate!(wouldn't this look great on the ice for them)
In the last game against Detroit, the time from ten minutes left to one minute left was probably the longest nine minutes of my life. But from one to zero was probably the greatest time I've ever had. I didn't want the clock to run out. It was such a great feeling: people crying in the stands, people jumping up and down, people cheering. Guys couldn't even sit up on the bench. It was probably the best minute of my life.
Cody, Remember your tracking sheet!

I agree. Now they wear that Reebok cookie cutter garbage. One of the worst uni downgrades I've seen.

If they prematurely cut off hockey for golf one more time, we're gonna have to start calling them Leafs TV.

Is it the name + logo combo that you don't like or just the utilization of the colors and sweater? Does Kingston bother you because they use the Bruins jersey with a hub and spoked K but they aren't called the Bruins?

I wouldn't mind it if the Rangers adopted the soldier head look full time. I don't mind the NY Rangers look at all, but the soldier head would work too. Either/Or.

I'd take the NY Rangers look over that Yosemite Sam sheriff look any day though. G-d that sucked.

I don't like that they look just like the Rangers, and have a logo that is basically the Rangers' with New York scratched out and Kitchener written in. The name is fine; they can make it their own with their own logo, sweaters, and spin on red and blue.

Yes! They should go back to the old logo, or just wear that tailed Kingston script on everything.

It's like high school sports. There are too many designers with too many ideas to just rip off an NHL team wholesale. There should be sixty unique, or even just semi-unique, identities in major-junior.
