dfwabel
Bears just traded a late pick for Bucs DT Brian Price. Anyone give me some info on him?I don't know anything about him but last time the bears traded a pick for a bucs d line man he died a few weeks after.Gaines Adams. I remember that. Price is similar to Adams in that he has a HUGE potential upside, but (so far) has never reached it. I'm pretty stunned that the Bucs were so willing to give up on him so early, so that's pretty telling IMO.Remember these things.1- He (Price) punched Mark Barron in the face last month during a player's meeting.2- He is really not healthy.Price had his hamstring "screwed" to his pelvis in 2010. Sport
The Browns are for saleAs a Bengal fan, this could be bad. The Lerner ownership and their terrible football teams have been good to Cincinnati. A new owner, with some organizational competence could result in Cleveland fielding a good football team for once and the AFC North doesn't need any more good football teams. As a uniform fan, it could be good. If it means they drop the AL patch, that's a small W for everyone and who knows, maybe they fix the mess that is the Browns' uniform. Maybe at the very least they start wearing the brown jersey again.
tBBP
Can the city of Cleveland buy the Browns, and let its citizens buy into it?Serious question borne out of curiosity. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

vmd9
There's no "for sale" about it. It's all but official that Jimmy Haslam (CEO of Pilot Travel Centers) will become the majority owner of the Browns. Some other investors were mentioned, none by the name of Dan Gilbert. But I'm sure he has plenty on his plate already.

It's an understatement, but they better pray Rivers doesn't get injured!Well, no, they already have Charlie Whitehurst penciled in behind Rivers, Boller is just an insurance signing because Whitehurst is injured. Not that it matters, because like every team with an elite QB, we're :censored:ed no matter what if Rivers goes down. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
infrared41
Can the city of Cleveland buy the Browns, and let its citizens buy into it?Cleveland fans owing the Browns. How great would that be? The Browns would have a new coach, off. coordinator, QB,... ...who am I kidding? They'd replace the entire team every week. The comedy alone should be enough for the NFL to change the rules and allow it.

I'd say he has the inside track of becoming the 3rd WR, besides Ogletree. If Dez does get suspended for any number of games, I wouldn't be surprised if they picked up a veteran WR. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they picked up a WR anyways. Danny Coale has potential, but they haven't seen him practice at all. The Cowboys may end up using a lot of double tight-end formations this year. Maybe have Miles and Dez line up on the outside, Jason on the strong or weak side, Romo lined up in the Shotgun with Felix and DeMarco lined up on both sides of him. I could see the Cowboys using that formation a lot if we don't find a sufficient third option at the wideout.
