Zubaz lives.

Leave it to Adidas to make Nike look tasteful and restrained.

Notre Dame did lime green a hell of a lot better 20 years ago.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

So the A.D.s are responsible for picking this out.

If BruinsNation hasn't put a contract out for Dan Guerrero, this might finally push them over the edge.

Notre Dame Press Release

This line stood out for me.

The impact camo pattern is designed to let players stand out on college basketball's biggest stage,

I don't think you quite understand what camo is supposed to do.

/Never mind camo should be exclusively reserved for service academies IMO.

Is Notre Dame stripe pattern different than the rest?

The striping at least appears to be going in the opposite direction.

Got a closer look, its the same just the darkest color is stripe going the opposite direction. The others, that stripe is more subtle.

"Classic" does not mean it gets a free pass for being bad design.

I'm never saying anything bad about Nike again. Nothing they've done is nearly as bad as these monstrosities.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

Kansas coach Bill Self said they will only be wearing these uniforms in the Big 12 tournament, not the NCAA Tournament.

That's good news at least. And Kansas probably has the least amount of tradition uniform-wise out of the elite basketball programs.

I am really glad not to see Wisconsin on this. Otherwise, I am very upset to see it. Notre Dame and Baylor look like they are wearing white jerseys (and socks) colored with Easter egg dye. And to see traditional powers (UCLA, Kansas) and traditional schools (Notre Dame) wearing templated uniforms meant to advertise a damn apparel company is disheartening.

I wanted to say "are these only for the first weekend? As we've seen in recent years, just about anyone can ride luck and a hot streak to the Final Four. Is this what they want to be wearing? Is this what they want on that film for all eternity?" But I don't think that's going to matter. We saw Oregon pass up on their own school colors in the biggest football game in school history, so why not this?

Yeah, the execution is "clown suit", but even if they looked good, I personally cannot stomach having six teams look the same all in the name of getting people to talk about Adidas (or any other corporation). I guess I should feel privileged to have grown up before this was commonplace.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."
