Brass
After a tumultuous (to say the least) year, the American Ultimate Disc League has decided to expand to seven new cities for the 2013 season. Expansion, after two teams are legally battling the league over a territory dispute AND coming off of a season where most teams lost a considerable amount of money. I don't expect this league to be around for a 2014 season, as there was more "hey, wouldn't it be awesome to have a professional ultimate league?" thrown around then actually logistics of a real league discussed. Anyway, below are the team names, and logos.DC BreezeMadison RadicalsMinnesota Wind ChillNew Jersey HammerheadsNew York EmpireToronto RushWindy City WildfirePretty bad, to say the least. Hopefully the jerseys can make up for them. On 4/10/2017 at 3:05 PM, Rollins Man said: what the hell is ccslc?
walkerws
New York and Madison have decent logos IMO. The rest are quick crap that are stock graphics. Yuck.

Jer15
Good find Brass, I've been following the league this year pretty closely and I was wondering when we'd see these logos come out.I think I'll go see the Rush play this year, just for fun, but i seriously doubt the long term health of this league. CSSdesigns
Going to a Rush game as well, against the Revolution. That's my problem (along with everyone else) with all of them. By not completing the collar it makes it 1 billion times sillier looking.

Besides it's nice to see new leagues of sports [other than the four major leagues] be invented.

Oriolesmagic
Would love for this league to be successful, as Ultimate is my favorite sport to play. However, expanding at this point is completely ridiculous, the league hasn't even had success yet! As for the logos, I think New York's is pretty solid, but that's about it, DC's is pretty amateur unfortunately, along with New Jersey.
andrewharrington
Hopefully the jerseys can make up for them. That doesn't happen in ultimate. Frenchie
I just discovered this league this morning when I saw an ad in the newspaper (sponsored by Telus)http://reader.metronews.ca/digital_launch.aspx?id=ae45d194-e887-4f4e-bfc7-62a403de57df(p.2)And couldn't tell what the RUSH was, especially not based on their awful all over the place logo:Mis-shaped maple leaf, CN Tower in wordmark and Ripped off "TR" from the Toronto Rock. The other gripe I have with the Rush is that their contact number is a "905" number (likely managed by Cosmos)... but I digress... The one AUDL identity I totally dig is the Radicals, cool name, cool colours, great logo concept (I may have even been able to guess what game they played" unlike Toronto's... @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6
Frenchie
And while we're discussion logos, what's everyone's opinion on the League's logo itself?Am I the only seeing a locomotive's "cow catcher" in that logo? (That's actually all I can see...) @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6
