Is it supposed to represent a star like this:Or is the front supposed to be raised, but ultimately flat, like the H? Why is the bevel so thin on the top of the top-right point and on the bottom of the top-left? And why is the bevel centered like the pic above on the top and bottom-left points? Not liking this so far.Beveling seems to raise too many questions to be worth it. Also, not often do you see the "lighted point" coming from the left to right, most of the time it's right to left. ...What is it with the state of Texas and beveling? Heck, even that logo would look better with a beveling effect than the H-star. The uniforms might make the whole identity acceptable, but logo-wise this is a downgrade. McCall Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 I'm guessing, for the moment at least, on the cap that the beveling will simply be done by the stitching being raised in areas causing the light to naturally show the beveling. If they make the flat center part raised with the bevels actually angled towards it, I think it can work. I also wouldn't be surprised to see them use a slightly darker white for the non-gray bevels. Regardless, they will make it work. I think case I think the cap logo will look much better than the print one.I like your thinking and I hope New Era lends some perspective. That mockup with the lonestar looks too busy and too wide.I can dig that don't update on the font though, reminds me of the nfl font and the font burger king uses on their graphics.Any chance the logo isn't beveled and this is just a league wide t shirt design?
