Mets wearing the blue alts tonight against Miami

Wonder if Miami will wear grey or black... either way bleh...

would be interesting to see Mets blue vs Marlins Orange one day like watching bar league softball

Just thought I'd go a little different direction with your post

It's where I sit.

Does anyone have a more clear shot from yesterday's game? It kind of looks like the NL logo has only 15 stars, but I want to make sure

I thought I saw 7 stars on the left, 7 on the right, and 1 in the middle kind of on top. Couldn't really tell though, I didn't see any close-ups of the patch.

That's good. Teams should ALWAYS wear their regular home/road uniforms for openers.

To change the topic to Atlanta, does anyone know if the Braves are still going with the schedule they had last year of wearing their red jerseys on Fridays and their terrible cream jerseys on Saturdays and Sundays?

So the Rockies are wearing special patches for their 20th anniversary. Since they only sell blanks with the new patch, I had to buy two from MLB.com and get them sewn on. It looks good I think, but it bugs me that the two purples are different.

...

Probably a thread-to-fabric matching issue. Certainly the intent was for a match:

So, why don't the Marlins have a 20th anniversary sleeve patch?

It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | 🌐 Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports 🔗

I guess they just chose not to celebrate it. They're not required to and I don't think teams started celebrating 20th anniversaries until recently.

I'm willing to lay down money that, three seasons from now, we're going to see a Miami Marlins "5th" patch.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. I like the Mets blue jerseys, but then again I loved the black jerseys too. A black, orange, and blue jersey would be a great trifecta.

These blues are great, just no more Los Mets please.

Didn't the Marlins wear a 20th patch last season? Or was that just the Marlins Stadium patch?

I'm pretty sure you're going to lose that money.

Go A's!

I'm about a year late with this post, but just discovered this cap online while searching for something else. I think the Marlins missed a great opportunity to tie their brand in with the Dolphins, much like Pittsburgh has with their teams...

That looks a hell of a lot better than what they got now
