The threshhold is any point between 85% and 100% of non-suite/premium/luxury seats. That number can't be changed once it is selected. If a team does not meet this level 72 hours prior to kickoff, the game is blacked out.HOWEVER, the team also has the option of paying 34 cents on the dollar to buy up enough tickets to reach their threshhold level and avoid a blackout. Why? Because the visiting team receives 34% of the gate. Essentially, the home team (or a local sponsor, such as the local network affiliate) is paying the minimum that the visiting team would receive in ticket revenue for the ability to broadcast the game locally.So, any talk of 'we've sold out x number of games' needs to be looked at critically, because that may really mean 'our owner has paid to have us on local TV'.So... why don't all teams set really low threshholds they are sure to meet? Given that TV revenue dwarves game day revenue by several orders of magnitude with the current tv contract, fans in the seats have become glorified extras on a movie set. Sure watching a game on tv with nobody in the stands cheapens the product but it surely does not hurt the bottom line. Given the new economic reality, the smaller modern pro stadiums have it right with a capacity of about 65k you basically guarantee sellouts and keep your stadium fill with die hard season ticket holders and the corporate crowd who will gladly burn their cash on the club level and suites.So as it stands JAX is in a really tough spot. Stadium is too big to not have to worry about blackouts but the tv market is too small to generate much of a tv based fan base to generate local ad revenue. LA is the exact opposite as you have a huge tv market that supports the NFL without having a team so the league really can't extract much more revenue from the market.The more I think of it Jaguares de La Ciudad Mexico might make the most sense as the UK time zone issue would not come into play. I love the updates you've posted, I think my biggest problem with the current set is the lack of green on the white and grey jerseys, other than the outline to the numbers. Making the shoulder triangle green makes this look much more cohesive and the pants stripes are awesome. I'd love to see the white jersey and pants too. Job well done. Don't think so.They've never worn the all green with the current uniform set. They wore them with their old set and white shoes, which did look goofy.The Eagles would (and will) look great in all green. The Rams don't look quite right because the stripes on the navy pants don't go with anything and they are pretty ugly. Their best look was clearly the gold pants with the blue jersey but for some odd reason, they decided they didn't want to look as good as they could.
