Here's a more accurate 05-06 Cavaliers court (I think).

Note the baseline font is different. Also note the scoreboard reads "2006-07 Season Tickets".

Not sure if this was end of the season '06, or the 06-07 season.

Either way, the baseline font was different, it was the bolder-version,

Edit: The scoreboard clearly lists the Cavs as having a #2.

Flip Murray played in 2005-06, so I'm 99% this is the 2005-06 season.

I think from 1979-1988, there was no center line in the blue section of the center court jump circle.

Thanks! corrected!

From 1997-2006 the accent color on the Wizards logo is bronze/copper. They only replaced bronze/copper with gold on the court in the 2006-07 season.

Wizards secondary w/ bronze accent from 1997-2006.

The Wizards logo at USAir Arena had bronze accents. You can use that shade on the 1997-2006 MCI/Verizon Center courts.

Also, the Wizards had a black baseline for many of the "copper years", if I remember correctly.

The black baseline was during the Eddie Jordan/Gilbert Arenas/Antawn Jamison years (2003-06), during which the Wizards wordmark was in blue with white trim. The blue sidelines were retained, while copper was partially painted on the key, with half of the free throw circle and NBA key in blue, and black lines. The blue baseline was from 1997-2003, with a darker copper on the Wizards font from 2001-03. the MCI Center sign changed to a bolder font and in black in 2001.

From 2001-2003 the MCI Center sign was painted in blue and in 1997-2001 it ain't a lighter copper: It is the wooden floor.

I meant to say 1978-88 because I saw the SEC storied episode about Sam Bowie, who played in the US/DC High School Classic in Landover. Sam was on the US All Star Game while Ralph Sampson was on the DC area team.

BTW, it now says the images of the Capital Centre floor is currently unavailable. Can they be put up again?

Atlanta Braves, please bring back the Indian Head logo.

Do we have to keep posting videos of the Bullets/Wizards losing in the last minute in big games? Yeesh...being there for all of them was bad enough. ICYMI, the US Air Arena people accidentally released confetti when the Bullets missed the last shot in the 1997 game against MJ and the Bulls. Yep.
