FFWally
Let me preface by saying we have possibly the worst Falcon logo in history at our local High School. The School has no traditional helmet logo going from the original Atlanta Falcons logo, to a block H to this thing. We are situated in a town with two schools and the primary High has a controversial logo that while not incredible, gets the job done.So... here is the Current Helmet on Right and the Concept on Left.I have done an alternate helmet, but not sure how to get it done without being a wraparound design ala 2012 Seahawks. JayJaxon
The one on the bottom left is really cool.
hshelmetcreator
Kind of have the Boise St. idea going on the bottom left helmet. Could be best with out the yellow stripe.
raysfan24
Bottom left is really nice and I agree with hshelmetcreator, reminds me of Boise State.
hugevolsfan
Nice logo I like the top oneThe second would look better I think if you minimized it just a little where the back of the Falcon would line up with the back of the helmet on this template My Fictional Football League Version 3 My Fictional Football Leagues WebsiteMy Church Website

FFWally
Thanks... since we are in BSU territory, that would fly. Most of the kids here are all about Washington State, Oregon and Boise, with a few UW and OSU fans.I hadn't even played with the over sized decal until my wife thought the eye should be the focal point. The challenge is branding the entire athletic department with one color pallet and one BRAND.We use: Miami of Ohio RedHawk (Baseball)Atlanta Hawks (Basketball)Iowa Hawkeyes (Wrestling)That Sparrow (Football)The 70's Standing Falcon...randomand some god awful Neon Sign rendering for Cheer Fictional History of the SFAF
hugevolsfan
I like the top one because you have an outline so the helmet does not eat up your logo.maybe if you could get back to where the bottom of the logo is still coming up out of the bottom of the helmet it would look geat My Fictional Football League Version 3 My Fictional Football Leagues WebsiteMy Church Website
FFWally
This is the full Uniform for Home Games. As Hanford HS is located adjacent to the Hanford Nuclear Facility our Merit Stickers have always been Radioactive symbols. I added the Falcon to the center to make them non-generic... FFWally
Any Thoughts on Gold? We are officially Gold and Purple, but baseball uses Florida State light gold, and all other sports use Yellow Gold.Wanted to see how Gold ould work here. Interesting but not sure if I love or hate it. Fictional History of the SFAF
bwalker1974
These are some really good designs but if this is something you plan on pitching to the high school you will need to scale it back. Coming from the reconditiong industry creating that oversized falcon would have to be factory created or a high tech recon shop either way it would be way too expensive for any A.D. to consider buying and reconditioning every year or two. Its a cool concept but scale back a little if you plan on presenting your idea
Greg_Fryman
Really good stuff I might be one of the few like BWalker that think a scaled down version would be better and first glance I got an Akron feel not sure why though.

Clean, and a 2 color logo with helmet color used as base. Fictional History of the SFAF
WNDUP FX
I think your last design (version 7) is by far the best. Really sharp, and although I like the way the full falcon looks, I agree that it would probably cost your school too much to reproduce at such a large scale. That said, I'm sure there are a ton of vinyl print shops (search ebay), that could reproduce two colour (as you stated, might be smart to go with a clear coat and use the helmet base for the purple) at a reasonable price. hshelmetcreator
Head over to T-Mac Sports. They can make em for you, I'm pretty sure! Great guy to work with!
FFWally
Thanks for the advice, working on the decal now... Making some changes to make it work on a helmet... not quite Seahawks wrap, but something along those lines anyway. FFWally
So this may or may not work... think I would need the specs to be positive. Im sure scaled it ould fit, but probably have to be cut. Since a lot is going to be celar vinyl it would be ok on most helmets.Thoughts??? Fictional History of the SFAF
debo0775
Large logos are a pain in the ass to apply to helmets (trust me...lol). I'd try to keep the logo to no more than 4x6 or so.If you downsized the falcon as in version 7, that'd be a pretty nice helmet. Throwing in a large nuclear warning symbol IMO makes the helmet too busy.
WNDUP FX
Agreed. Use the nuclear symbols as separate decals if you feel the need to use them at all. As is, the design is way too busy. Behance | @scotmccormack
