Good lord, are they the only team in the NHL to not have had an alternate jersey in the last 20 years?

Nope. In recent years, the Wings and Habs have had one- or two-off jerseys and the Devils have worn their red and green jerseys a few times, but none of them have ever had true alternates.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

What pisses me off even more than people not showing up before puck drop (which can be forgiven if said people are in line for beer/food/bathroom) are the people that leave the game during the intermission or when there's 5 mins left in the game. I had to work security during a Canucks game against the oilers last season and I had about 40-60 people walk through the exit I was stationed at during the 2nd intermission, and it was like a 2-1 game at that point. That bugged me, but what got to me even more was at the 6 minutes left mark of the game (tied 2-2) I had hordes of people pouring out the exits and even more at the 3rd intermission. And it was tied going into overtime ffs. You pay over 100+ bucks a head for tickets and you don't even stick around to see the conclusion of the game you spent an arm and a leg for? I even saw a little kid around 7ish years old being forcibly dragged out of the arena by his mother during the overtime intermission crying his eyes out not even wanting to leave. It was probably one of his first games and you won't even let him see the finish? :censored: people

My dad used to pull this kinda stuff with me all the time as a kid. He always wanted to leave early to "avoid traffic". I understand his reasoning, but I still never liked it. He once was pretty insistent on leaving a 49ers playoff game at the end of the 3rd quarter because of this reason and because they were getting killed. I basically told him to trust me because I felt like it wasn't over yet, and that if he was going to leave early it would be without me. He was annoyed at first, but the Niners proceeded to storm back and win in the second biggest NFL playoff come from behind ever. The look on his face was priceless as he was absolutely thrilled, and we've never left a game early since.

It's a personal rule of mine. You NEVER leave a game early when there's even the slightest chance it could turn around. The annoyance from waiting in traffic is nothing compared to the annoyance of missing a huge comeback.

Do the Devils need new uni's?? I think so!!

Please leave.

Both Jets teams have not, but the first Winnipeg Jets relocated before 3rd jerseys were really a thing and the new team is still establishing their brand.

The Devils whip out the Red & Green once a year. Ought to be more, but I'm an odd duck in that regard.

And you'd better believe the Jets 2.0 will bring an alternate out ASAGDP. Ownership keeps saying he's partial to a 1972-73 throwback, but we'll see what happens.

Everyone and their dog has a Jets jersey in Winnipeg (and you can see it at Jets games too), so I'm surprised that they haven't rolled out throwbacks yet.

Here's a novel concept that you might have never thought about, but people leaving early might have to leave for emergency purposes or even a job. You in your infinite lack of wisdom may not have thought that they got the tickets free or bought the tickets and had their schedule change to where they can't go to the full game. Did you ask those people why they were leaving early? No. Instead of being a jerk and imposing your judgements on people, stop and realize that some of those people are going to protect lives as doctors, police, or firefighters. Not everyone has the 8-5 schedule. Hell, I had to get up this morning at 6 am to do some work and a friend had to go to work at 4 am, which meant we left a concert early last night. Do I like leaving games early? No, but there are circumstances where I have to, and I don't give a flying leap what others think.

He's not the one being a jerk. You are. Most people who leave early do in fact leave early to beat the traffic. Yes there are exceptions, but thats exactly what they are, exceptions. So calm down, he's not making any indictment against you personally.

If I were at a play and someone got up and left in the middle of the third act, I don't think I would be like "oh, that's okay, he's going to protect lives as a doctor, policeman, or firefighter."

I guess we're at a weird point where what we're paying for an event isn't commensurate with what it's worth to us.

While this Flames 3rd is by no neans "good", it's a hundred times better than what they've been wearing. Screw it. Make this the primary now, add a matching road, and banish those Edge rollout atrocities to an incinerator.

I have the same philosophy. The only situation in which I would ever leave a game early is if a family member or close friend is dying. You never know what is going to happen after you leave. For all you know, you may miss history being made. As the saying goes; "it ain't over till it's over!"

That C-F Mountain logo is so late '70s I'm surprised it wasn't their logo when they got there. I kinda like it! The black yoke with black shorts is kind of stepping on the Devils' toes, though.

Interesting jersey for Calgary. Will of course have to see a real one to judge properly but I'm ambivalent to negative on it at first glance. I like third jerseys that expand the team's look or brand somehow and this just doesn't do that. Bonus points for not copying any other teams! Lol. Colors make me think Devils and wordmark plus small logo crest is similar to Buffalo's old third but at this point I think pretty much anything will look like something else.

But it's not baby blue and doesn't have a roundel! It can't be a third jersey!

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
