African Nation Soccer Crests - UPDATE Ghana and Uganda on pg 2

I got bored and decided to try my hand at some soccer crests. Cameroon wore a lion patch on their recent jerseys and I wanted to try to incorporate that into the Indomitable Lion's fulltime crest.

The shield shape is based on the current crest, with the addition of the 3 flag colors on the top, instead of in the background.

The nose and cheeks of the lion form the top of a soccer ball. It's not obvious, but it's there.

I'll probably do some more national team crests, so if you have requests/ideas feel free to throw them out there.

Wow. This looks phenomenal. My only minor gripe is where the ribbon meets the bottom of the lion's mane. It doesn't look bad as is, but I'm curious how it'd look of it were yellow...or maybe even red or green. Nice stuff.

Amazing work as always, crosby. My favorite right now would be Angola, with it's tongue-in-cheek socialist vibe. Do you plan on doing the entire Dark Continent, then?

I'd like to do as many as possible. The hardest part is knowing which symbols are important to each nation. The team nicknames help, but there is a lot I don't know. I've been doing lots of research.

They all look phenomenal, the red on Burkina Faso is a nice touch for the features towards the back. You should try to make jerseys for these, they would be very tasty. The soccer ball/ lion face is a very clever touch, though not at all noticeable. I'm rather embarrassed to be asking this, but what is the animal in the Angola crest? You could try to make the animal for Angola more defined.

Overall very nicely done.

Algeria is fantastic. I likewise want to see South Africa and Ghana (even if Ghana keeps kicking our butts in World Cup.)

I also appreciate that you are pairing (most of) these with the original crest so we can see what your new direction is with your work.
