I saw this too a while back.Interesting to see what brand is most famous in each state.

Here's the link but if you're wondering what some states are and don't feel like here are some of that are hard to make out.

New Jersey = Campbell's

New Hampshire = Timberland

Vermont= Ben & Jerry's

Rohde Island = Hasbro

Delaware = DuPont

Hawaii = Hawaiian Airlines

Obvious ones: Washington, Oregon, MIssouri, Arkansas, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maine, Michigan, Tennessee, Colorado. If you'd asked me the question "Name a company based in _____" I'd have answered that respective company.

No idea what Great Harvest Bread Co. (Montana), Carrs (Alaska), Taco John's (Wyoming), Allsup's (New Mexico), Gino's (WV) or Zappos (Nevada) even are. How is Nevada not something casino or Las Vegas-related? And I know it's technically Yum!, but how is Kentucky not KFC?

Zappos is a HUGE online retailer, to the tune of likely more than $2 billion a year in revenue (most recent I could find was $1.6 in 2010, which has likely grown considerably since then thanks to working with Amazon). Casinos make a lot, but the entire strip combined only earns about $4 billion a year, I believe (can't remember the exact number). Anyway, Zappos has literally every kind of shoe you'd want, and killer customer service. Highly recommend.

I find AZ's choices a little puzzling, with major brands like PetSmart and US Airways HQ'd here. Also, LOL @ Taco Johns in WY... not much to choose from, apparently.

there's an alcohol one out there too.

This one?

PBR has tov be more iconic than Miller at this point, but if Wisconsin has to be stuck with a sh~tty beer, howcome Michigan gets Belle Isle and not Stroh's?

And on what planet is Grain Belt more well-known than Hamm's?

Pennsylvania's is perfect, America's oldest brewery-Yuengling

Except that mostly college kids drink it, and higher end places don't even carry it. PA has a ton of excellent craft breweries. Not up there with CA or New England, but I believe you can by Victory nationwide, so as someone in his mid 30s, I'd make that PAs beer now.

I think Google or Warner Brothers (or another Hollywood brand) might be more well known than Apple. It's debatable.

I think Disney would be more well known then those combined.

It's true!

And allsups is a convenience store chain in NewMex. Trying to remember if that or another was taken over by Stripes. I think town and country was taken by stripes.
