That's a classy logo. Thinking I'll be getting the American League jersey next season since the colors (that happen to be team centric) are red, white, and blue.

Crossing my fingers the AL jersey is red.

I'm hoping for an interlocking AL and NL to mimic the TC logo. On the caps, that is.

That would be great! I'm thinking the AL will wear red, and the NL, blue. The home league usually does the host team's lighter color on their BP uniforms

My theory is that MLB makes the home league the opposite (team) color of the host teams bp jersey. They believe that Mets fans for example would rather buy an orange jersey that looks nothing like the teams regular bp than a blue one which looks very similar. For example I believe that if the pirates hosted again the NL bp jerseys would be black because there bp jerseys are yellow whereas when they last hosted the pirates had a black BP so the NL ASG bp jersey was yellow. It just so happens that most teams BP jerseys are their darker color. It's all about merchandise sells.

...All match up with the home team's BP jerseys at the time.

And FWIW, all of those examples were sort of the exception. The Giants ended up using an orange jersey a few years later, the Yankees don't have much of a choice, anything but red for the Cardinals would just be wrong, and the Angels push red pretty hard too.

Traditionally, didn't the NL get represented by blue and the AL by red? It's entirely possible that the AL Red Book makes me associate the AL with red (and the NL with blue, even though it was the NL Green Book).

Go Astros!

Go Texans!

Go Rockets!

Go Javelinas!
