Bucs in white tops, pewter pants. Cardinals in red tops, white pants.
Vikings tweet the team will wear purple tops, white pants. That means the Steelers are in white jersey, yellow pants.
Texans in navy tops, white pants. Seahawks in gray tops, gray pants.
Redskins in white tops, yellow pants. Raiders will be in black tops, silver pants.
Chiefs in red tops, white pants. Giants in white tops, gray pants.
Bears in white tops, navy pants. Lions in blue tops, gray pants.
Bills in blue tops, white pants. Ravens in white tops, white pants.
Browns in brown tops, white pants. Bengals in white tops, white pants.

1) If the Bucs prior to the season planned to wear their orange throwbacks, did they need permission from the League to change to white jerseys for today game?

2) If the Bengals are wearing white in Cleveland, that proves that their website is wrong once again.

3) Are the Seahawks planning to wear the gray jerseys for one of their home games, since last year they wore gray in Toronto?

1 - No since it's part of their regular set

Not sure if that has to do with anything. The Bucs probably should have worn their red jerseys (since they were scheduled to wear orange), but there was probably enough advance notice of a jersey change (throwback to normal) that the Cardinals had no complaints of switching to their dark jerseys.

12 days is enough advance notice.

I was just going to post about the Bucs not wearing red...Don't know how they would have pulled off orange anyway. Wasn't it always "too hot" to wear orange when it was the primary color this time of year? In a related note, didn't the Chargers stiff the Broncos a few years ago about a jersey switch and didn't that lead to Denver wearing white at home a few weeks later?

You've got the Jags in where the Pats should be. Also, i think you need to adjust the gradient on the Jags' helmet. Your helmet is actually a gradient. Their helmet... not so much

Man, I REALLY hate it when the Saints wear the black pants. Bad enough when they wear them with the black jerseys; a travesty when they do it with the white jeseys.

It is what it is.

The Arizona Cardinals just announced today (September 30) that the team will wear their alternate black jerseys against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday (Week 5 - October 6).

I would love to see the Carolina Panthers wear white jerseys/black pants next Sunday. Maybe it is time to change things up, instead of having the same old boring "all white" look they have been doing since its infancy back in 1995.

Can't wait for the month of pink to start this weekend!!!

Overkill at its finest!

I do not understand why people have such an issue with something that is for such a worthy cause.

It is only one month and all the pink gear is then auctioned with the money going to breast cancer.

It is only accessories (towels, gloves, wristbands, etc) and cleats. It isn't like anything on the actual uniforms is made pink aside form an occasional chin strap when they do this.

Because it looks bad and the league could just as easily support the cause in an equal or greater way without looking bad. It's that simple.

It is about more than support. It has to do with exposure. It is pink for a reason to draw attention to it and raise awareness as well as raise money from auctioning the gear. People need to lighten up and put their personal "design" opinions aside for such a worthy cause. It isn't that big of a deal.

Naive to think pink is the only/best way to draw support to a cause. And that doesn't even take into account the idea of diminishing returns. The idea has run its course.

Trying to invalidate all anti-pink opinions as somehow pro-cancer is childish.

.

It is when you have 25% of your season dedicated to it.

Its the equivalent of a major league baseball team wearing pink cleats or pink gloves or pink underoos for 40 games a year.

The cause is great and all, but the NFL goes WAY overboard with this stuff. You get one home game in October for your team to wear all the pink stuff. ONE. Pick a game and go crazy with your pink accessories. But FOUR friggin weeks? Overkill.

And there are plenty of other worthy causes and killer diseases out there that could use the money too. Why only focus on breast cancer? We know why...the NFL loves their ladies and loves catering to that huge demo.

Who said anything about being anti-pink means you are pro-cancer. Those words were never even remotely stated and to try and spin things in that direction is totally uncalled for.

All I said was it isn't a big deal and that it is for an incredible cause and people need to lighten up about it and take their "design" hats off for a few weeks instead of obsessing over it. Every year it is the same thing. 4 weeks of people complaining. We get it. Most of you think it is too long. You said it last year and the year before and the year before.

Are there other causes, yes but this is the one that the NFL has chosen to get behind. If they picked Autism next year and wore the rainbow puzzle patterned gear would everyone complain about that too b/c it clashes with the uniforms? All these "ribbons" and or colors for any cause are intended to stand out for a reason. They are suppose to draw your attention to them. That is the point.

When it comes to things like this that raise awareness and/or money for any type of cause I just think we all need to let it go and not worry about the "design" element of it.
