The_Admiral
NHL:-NoneThe Red Wings and Oilers need new arenas and seem to be getting them. The Flames really need one now, but we'll see. The Islanders need a new arena, but not the one they're getting. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

LAWeaver
I feel as if the New York Giants should get their own place despite getting a new stadium just a few years a go. The Giants (though I hate to admit it) are a good team but have to share a stadium with the mediocre Jets. @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos

jhans203
MLBOakland Athletics (Just move to them to San Jose already!)Los Angeles Angels (I've heard possibilities about them actually moving to L.A., could leave Anaheim open for someone like the A's or Rays?)Tampa Bay Rays (I just don't see if working out in Tampa long term ... LA? Portland? SLC? Montreal? Jersey? etc., etc., etc.) NFLSt. Louis Rams (Should be the L.A. Rams)Oakland Raiders (Should just move in with the 49ers or back to L.A.)Buffalo Bills (Stay).San Diego Chargers (If they can't find a situation that works an LA move would work).Atlanta Falcons (Are they building a new stadium? Is that official?)Washington Redskins (I know there's been talk about moving back to DC). NHLPhoenix Coyotes (Quebec or Seattle waits).Edmonton Oilers (There's a new arena, right?)Detroit Red Wings (^^^-Ditto).Calgary Flames (I don't see them moving, but a new arena is WAY past due). NBADetroit Pistons (Why not move in with the Red Wings?)Sacramento Kings (Will come in time, but renovation is NOT the answer).

monkeypower
Los Angeles Angels (I've heard possibilities about them actually moving to L.A., could leave Anaheim open for someone like the A's or Rays?)Arte (the Angels owner) wants a new stadium or at least for Angel Stadium to be renovated. There is an area in Los Angeles County where AEG (a sports and entertainment company who desperatly wants an NFL team) wants to build a football stadium for an NFL team to come back to L.A. and there have been reports of Arte meeting with AEG about the land.I don't think the Angels are going to move. I think it's just a plan for AEG to show the NFL that there are other suitors for the land and for Arte to strong-arm Anaheim into giving money for the renovations. However if the Angels do leave Anaheim, I don't think any other MLB team will move in.

BigBubba
MLB:Tampa Bay RaysOakland Athletics(possibly) Toronto Blue JaysThe Dome needs some fixes, but a brand-new stadium isn't needed. Once they become the sole tenant (see below) and can get grass, they'll have jumped the biggest hurdle. And apparently they plan some $250M in renovations in the not-too-distant future to help modernize things (admittedly, the "giant concrete bowl" is starting to get dated, but they've done a lot in the past few years to improve things, and I can only imagine what a full-blown renovation would do).And on that note, throw in the Toronto Argonauts. The SkyDome sucks for football. It's too big, has turf, and is not designed for football. Plus, sharing it with another team leads to scheduling conflicts, such as the cancellation of this year's Labour Day Classic. There are new stadiums going up all across the country, and Toronto needs to be next. Winnipeg's cost $200M, which isn't exactly a lot. On the plus side, our mayor and our owner both want a new stadium, so that at least helps. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature. Evil G
Maybe a stadium similar to Lucas Oil, but with less seats? Magnus
Shouldn't the Jets get their own stadium? After all, it was originally the Giants stadium.MetLife Stadium is a joint-owned venture between the two teams. They own it 50-50. To have one team leave now would be breaking their joint venture contract (which I believe has a 25-year agreement with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority). The Sudbury Wolves could use a new arena, but I don't think the Burgess family is willing to dig into their own pockets for it exclusively. Improvements would have to come from an increase in taxes as well as corporate donations, because the only way Sudbury would get a new arena would be if it were part of a multi-use convention centre. This topic has actually been bounced around many times in recent years by Greater Sudbury Council as they struggle to improve the conditions of our downtown core. We're not Detroit-bad in terms of insolvency, but the downtown isn't the greatest place to hang out, still. With regard to the Argonauts - I am more than a little disappointed that the once-planned expansion to York U's stadium fell through, because it would be much easier to schedule home games with York U than with the Jays.BUT - definitely keep the Dome available for future Grey Cups. Baseball never happens in November (even the WS), so it should not be a conflict.
