South of South Street
This is an Miami Dolphins Concept Stadium I designed back in the Winter months (hence the old dolphins logos). It would sit on the same lot just next to Sun Life Stadium. It has exposed structure and is covered in panels that are covered with photovoltaic cells to be "green". The over head structure helps to shade fans and act as a ring for the stadiums lights. The corners are all open and allow for a cool breeze and a cooler dynamic view of the field. I went with Royal Carribean as the prime sponsor because they are Miami based and have a nice corporate logo that I think looks good on a stadium.http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/Ambit_RoyalCaribbeanStadium03_zpsd751dc8d.jpghttp://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/Ambit_RoyalCaribbeanStadium01_zpsfeccacdf.jpghttp://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/Ambit_RoyalCaribbeanStadium02_zps6260adba.jpghttp://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/Ambit_RoyalCaribbeanStadium04_zps18ad2815.jpghttp://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/Ambit_RoyalCaribbeanStadium05_zps98149dc1.jpghttp://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/Ambit_RoyalCaribbeanStadium06_zps95b7a036.jpghttp://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/Ambit_RoyalCaribbeanStadium07_zps9c2941be.jpgAs always, all comments are welcome.South of South Street

WSU151
Good looking, but it sort of looks like the field would be well below street level. Not sure if that's a good idea in South Florida. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
detam
That's pretty awesome what software did you use to make the stadium?
Silent Wind of Doom
The seat color doesn't really scream "Dolphins" to me, although I suppose it's influenced by their new orange-holocaust uniforms (which really don't scream dolphins to me either). I think it's throwing me off. It screams more "Dodgers". Would it be possible to, with a flip of a switch, change the seats to orange so we could see how that looks? mattb6
I like this really like the outside.
dgthree
I think your skills are top-notch, but the inside of the stadium is pretty blah. I like the facade and the "reflection-like" pool, though.
Darth Brooks
This reminds me a lot of your Minnesota Vikings concept. Mainly I think it's box shape for your exteriors and the sunken field which were a part of both.
roldy54
Given the topography and geology of Florida I doubt the sunken field would work, but I really like the exterior of the stadium.Including the Miami logos and imagery on the structures really made the whole design pop. So there would be a slight "mound" to the site that is not pictured in the renderings.
AAO
THE WHOLE STADIUMDid you throw in the kitchen sink too?I mean it's one thing to do the field design, the endzone, the court design etc...but the whole stadium...this is architecture not graphic design Behance Network || ianbakar.com || Dribbble
29texan
I like it. The Super Bowl committee would disapprove because there's not a retractable roof or anything (they're serious about that for Miami), but it's a nice modern stadium. Only thing I would change would be to make the seats orange.
South of South Street
I was going for open air but with the fans covered as much as possible. And as far as the seats go..... I went with somethng that was in between the Dolphins and U of Miami. But i might go back and go more orange. Depends on time.
