El Scorcho
The lines definitely need work in terms of evenness in weight, but I thought i'd share a logo I whipped up quickly today. If I was doing it for something other than fun i'd probably spend a lot more time on the paws as well.I'd love feedback
TheRicSlick
My only problem is the paws, but as you said, you would correct them.
woodshackzac
I think the feet look too round, almost like nubs FC BAYERN MUNCHEN-MICHIGAN STATE-THE DETROIT FOUR-WASHINGTON REDSKINS-LA LAKERS
missouri tigers
The way the front left leg meets the chest seems off. Try extending the line from the chest in front of the leg so you can better tell that it's further away than the other leg. Other than that, no real complaints. Shadojoker
I actually like the paws.. you want to have some sense of simplicity and nothing too complex. With a cool color scheme this logo could work.
sportsherald
It's a nice design, and well done, but it does remind me of a logo for the AHL Hershey Bears, in a slightly different pose. Use the rules of heraldry for more effective sports logos! i.e. keep it simple, use good contrast...
El Scorcho
I hadn't actually seen the Hershey logo before but it is strikingly similar. Whoops! I'll have to play around with it
sportsherald
That's a problem with natural subjects- it's very common to come up with apparently similar designs, even when they were done independently of one another! hettinger_rl
The breatsline of your bear should show in front of it's left front leg. That may be what people are seeing there.

El Scorcho
The breatsline of your bear should show in front of it's left front leg. hettinger_rl
Yes, that seems to help a lot. Take a look into some of those other comments as well.
sparkychewbarky
The new version with the altered chest-line looks really good. It'd be cool to see this "3-D'd" with some high-lites.Nice work ES. *The Battle of Seattle
El Scorcho
The new version with the altered chest-line looks really good. It'd be cool to see this "3-D'd" with some high-lites.Nice work ES.Thanks man!Being able to do highlights to really make logos pop is definitely the next step i'd love to be able to take in terms of logo design. I wish i'd taken some sort of graphic design course when I was younger and had more free time. I'm currently looking around the net for inspiration/tutorials on highlights so I can finish this logo off.

Dilomski
The legs and the paws are a problem for me, it looks like the bear is not standing on anything now, just doesnt make sense. If you draw a (invisible) line, doesnt have to be totally horizontal, but its good to be straight even with some angle and adjust the legs and paws to stand on it, this will make it more stable as a whole composition.
