FiddySicks
At first I absolutely HATED the current logo system for the Super Bowl, but it's actually grown on me quite a bit. I wish they would use a more stylized primary logo so it at least still existed in some major capacity, but just using the trophy with the numerals on the jersey is something I actually kind of like now (I could do without the stadium in the background, but oh well). It looks more professional now IMO, and that's not a completely terrible thing. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) JRB14
I agree with the above post. I like it as a patch, but not as a logo (if that's what you were getting at).
MJWalker45
I think the halftime logo looks better than the game logo. If you put the trophy where the Pepsi logo is and slapped Super Bowl under it you'd be set.

Lee Noire
Have there been any of those alternate logos spotted anywhere? The logos from last year were only really used to decorate the city and inside the stadium but they were definitely stronger marks. I can't tell were the last few games were by looking at the national logos(the ones without the stadium) which to me is a problem considering how big a part the city plays overall. Those alternate logos at least have some local flare.

Also, the Super Bowl app on iTunes uses it as well. I think that I would be more OK with the generic system if we saw more of the local identity as well. Puckguy14
I swear I saw @nflprguy on twitter that a new logo will be made for Super Bowl L and it's going to blow everyone away. I think that was a year or so though. 2004 San Jose Sharks 7th Man Fan of the Year San Jose Gold Miners - 4x Lombardi Cup Champions

RETROJR79
The generic logo wont be so bad if they add something else other than the stadium. I would've love to see eaither sun or cactus something that represent Phoenix.
JPDesign
My bet is still that they but a big fat "50" under the current logo style.People will moan and groan, but they've proven by using the current logo system that they don't really care about that. DustDevil61
I hate these generic logos for the Playoffs, Pro Bowl, and Super Bowl.At least the NBA (at one time) had standard Playoff logos colored in a given team's colors. That could be one way to (somewhat) remedy this problem. AKA @LanRovr0 on Twitter LED Sig Credits to packerfan21396

At least the NBA (at one time) had standard Playoff logos colored in a given team's colors. That could be one way to (somewhat) remedy this problem. There's still the individual team playoff logos. The only ones I have are from the 2012 season. Not sure if they used the same ones for 2013, however. If so, I'm only assuming a few teams had it changed like the Dolphins, Jaguars and Vikings. Other than that, I'm not sure. ColorWerx, am I correct when I say this?
guest23
Remember when sports was fun?The NFL used to be fun, but then Goodell took over.Every maligned change attributed to Goodell and his No Fun League policies can be directly traced back to Ownership. He's simply the messenger of their obsessive quest to extract maximum profits from the league's brand equity. He also gets paid handsomely to take the beating in the press for all of the unpopular changes to the league while the owners laugh to the bank. In their eyes he's doing a stellar job, which is why they voluntarily pay him close to $20MM a year for his troubles.
Dalcowboyfan92
I think maybe they will stop at Super Bowl 50 since it will just be an L and that would look really, really bareI agree, even if they make the image gold like they did for Super Bowl L in Madden Franchise mode.Even with the gold, just having 'L' underneath the Super Bowl logo is just asking for something added.I do have a feeling that they'll try the current styling of the Super Bowl, it probably won't work given the circumstances. Muggens
You would think the NFL would do something special for the 50th Super Bowl instead of the normal paint by the numbers logo. I think they will.
