Shadojoker
Cavs owner Dan Gillbert posted this to twitter saying it would be worn by the Cavs first overall pick. Interesting that they went with orange and blue instead of wine and gold.Would love to see them go back to more emphasis on blue and gold/orange. Keep red as an accent color. JPDesign
Yea, that's what I meant. I figured it was already covered here somewhereSo not only is the state logo gone but also the bridge/basketball logo? Warriors used that more than the primary lately??It's still there. That was just cropped in on secondary logos:

Maximus89
Is this a result of moving Jerry West to the back of jerseys so that all these secondary logos can be on the front?
Maximus89
Not going to lie though, seeing that Ben Franklin makes me wish we went with a modern take on this: instead of the crappy 'HR' we just got.

Maximus89
I think it would be cool. A modern day astronaut silhouette reaching out to touch a basketball shaped sun or moon(with the 'R' inside of it). No rocket pack. Im thinking the illusion that hes floating.
mafiaman
Maximus89, that avatar logo of yours always takes me back to the days of Robert Reid, Ralph Sampson, Hakeem the Dream, and even Clyde the Glide (for one glorious year, anyways)...loved that Rockets era... Love Leslie, but dude has bad taste. How you can get rid of that classic look after back to back championships? Fans have been begging for a return and all we got was a poorly made alternate jersey with too much yellow/gold.

tajmccall
Target is based in MN, and (I would assume, I'm not sure) is something that Minnesotans are proud of.Yeah, definitely. Target ranks ahead of Prince, Al Franken, and Garrison Keillor, but behind Mystery Science Theater 3000, Paul Westerberg, and the inability to say goodbye in under 45 minutes. And vehement denial of the fargo accent (even though we all know many people with that thick accent.) Generic
Cavs draft hat is this:I don't know what the hell Dan Gilbert is talking about.Would the NBA actually enforce this? Or say if they didn't closely monitor, and that he provides the other hat that they'd fine him?

FiddySicks
C'mon dude...of course it's part of the primary. I'm gonna go ahead and connect the dots and say they are bringing the arched all-caps wordmark back to the jerseys. It's also a year where the Kings could have a 30th anniversary logo, as they had a 20th in 2004-05 and a 25th in 2009-10. That's probably just me using silly logic again, though.I think I agree...for years, they've been phasing out that typeface, and bringing it back now seems deliberate on their part.I sure hope they're bringing it back. It's head and shoulders above the crappy word marks that followed it, and it's probably the best they've ever had. They never should've switched away from the Wenber era set.
