OMMF
FOX, CBS and NBC are all OTA networks. So why has FOX switched to a widescreen format and CBS, NBC (and ABC) still continue to frame for 4:3? It's a minute problem but I'd much rather have them utilize the entire space for the scores, updates and statistics. The bottom line on ABC during college football is ridiculously narrow. BrandMooreArt
i also think NBC has a really nice graphics package all around. everything from player photos, type, score bug, player profiles all looks very nice, readable, and very "primetime". Buster
NBC definitely has the bestAgreed. NBC best, CBS worst because of their horrible placement that gets in the way more than anyone else's. ESPN is OK, but they also have the distraction of their bottom line news. NBC's is smaller and cleaner. cmm
I think I read somewhere that CBS will have a separate graphics package for its Thursday night games.
Midway
Strange. I tend to enjoy CBS games more. The way they broadcast everything seems more subtle.
canzman
Doubt both channels will use the same package but here's the TNF CBS/NFLN logo. When the deal with CBS was announced it was said that both networks will use the CBS broadcasters and graphics and that even in the second half of the season when they are just on NFLN it will continue to use the CBS content. NFLN makes out big on this as they don't have to employee any staff (No broadcasters/no production staff) for it and still get the game broadcasts. machpost
I like how the new look is clean and flat. I hope this means we're finally moving past having to slather everything with unnecessary textures, gradients, highlights and drop shadows.
