Drew22
Not my design, but I saw a pretty cool MARTA rebranding online. MARTA is Atlanta's pretty terrible transit system.http://cargocollective.com/andrewwhited/MARTAIt looks a little Google Chrome-ish, but I still like it. 1clkgtramg
It looks good and professional while still using a design that is very out-there, I just have a problem with that shade of green bleeding with the blue too much. I do like the train though. The bus stop is odd but still looks cool and unique - I cant stand when they are just on some crappy metal pole, this one you can easily see from a distance. Overall, I really like what this guy has done. Hopefully someone comes up with something nice for the TTC. The_Admiral
Good design principles, shame they're wasted on MARTA. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
-kj
One thing he doesn't show is station signage, which is dreadfully lacking in the system as it is. Giving your lines a color is only helpful if you actually have signs that use those colors in pointing out the lines. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! OMMF
I've never understood why transit map makers show all the stop names for certain lines and omit them for others. I understand it is necessary for clarity and to keep the scale of the map intact but it serves no good to people not from that area, the ones most likely to need the map the most. BlueSky
Does the designer happen to have a large collection of 45 rpm records? This was the first thing I thought of when I saw the logo but I guess I'm just showing my age.
