Wilt
NBA is the only Big 4 league I follow so I will restrict myself to basketball only but feel free to bing more examples (baseball will probably not be applicable here). We've got 3 succesful coaches that assumed the positions within the organizations they used to play for. Despite the fact that those throwbacks are available for sale on NBA Store,Suns and Nets fans might be more eager to purchase their own jerseys.Kidd jersey is available in Australia thoughso Adidas is apparently manufacturing them. My guess is that they are not available directly from NBA because Nets/Suns want to capitalize on their new looks instead. And here is the third guyWith 2 superstars on the roster makes probably no sense to go back to the dark ages and his stay with LAC was a brief one, which are enough reasons. Still, I wonder if there is a market for guys like me in the early 30s, who do not feel comfortable with wearing jerseys of people younger than themselves. I also start appreciating brain work more that athleticism (it's oversimplification, I know; CP3 has one of the highest basktball IQ in the league) and love the way Doc and Jeff are shaping their newly-coached teams. Are they any coach throwbacks you would like to see? FiddySicks
No, I think baseball applies here as well. I have a D Backs jersey that I had customized last season with Matt Williams name and number. He was formally a player for the D Backs (I think he even wore the brick jerseys for a bit, too, so in that sense it was kind of a throwback too), and was their third base coach up until this season. He's the manager for the Nats now. If I ever end up getting a Nats jersey, it'd definitely be a Williams jersey. jhans203
Clippers looked a lot better during Rivers' and Mark Jackson's playing days.I have to disagree there. I think the early 2000s Clippers looked much better than both looks.
