pianoknight Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 This is a program cover, not a graphic, but I always thought it was hilarious that the 1979 Orange Bowl didn't have any better options than to re-match NU-OU who had just played weeks ago on Thanksgiving as the close of Big 8 play.Of course, this sort of thing happens all the time today with CCGs and divisional play, but it was quite odd at the time. 5th in NAT. Sport Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 Even a baby bear would destroy a cardinal. Totally unrealistic.This logo has bothered me ever since I first saw. The black and navy blue touching each other rubs it the wrong way. There has to be a better way to incorporate the two schools colors without them vibrating against each other.
