Not very confident, but it's against my religion to pick against my own team when they have a real chance.

Heat over Bulls in 6

Warriors over Spurs in 7

There's no reseeding, so those matchups aren't possible.

NBA CHAMPIONS: Pacers, I guess? (I'm over the idea of the Thunder winning. If the Heat or Spurs win again, whatever.)

Good idea, bro. Pacers in 6 over who? Predictions coming up.

This is the coolest bracket I've ever seen.

Anyway, I think the Pacers come out of the East. As a Heat fan, this edition is their weakest since LeBron came. Miami's relied on their ability to enter "playoff mode" for too long, and I think it catches up with them at one point, if not in the ECF, then the NBA Finals. As for the West, it's an unpredictable dogfight, but I'm personally hoping for the Clippers (it'd feel good to see CP3 get a shot) or the the Spurs (always been a fan of that organization and Duncan) to emerge victorious.

Tradition is the foundation of innovation, and not the enemy.

I'd love to see the Warriors beat the Pacers in the Finals in seven epic games, but it's probably going to be the Spurs over the Heat.

Actually, the only team in this year's playoffs I don't wanna see win is San Antonio. The playoffs are so much more enjoyable without the Lakers.

This is what I have on some bracket website in a contest against some buddies:

Pacers over Hawks in 6

Heat over Horncats in 5

Nets over Raps in 7

Bulls over Wizards in 5

Spurs over Mavs in 5

Thunder over Grizzlies in 6

Clippers over Warriors in 7

Rockets over Blazers in 4

Pacers over Bulls in 7

Heat over Nets in 6

Spurs over Rockets in 7

Thunder over Clippers in 6

Pacers over Heat in 7

Spurs over Thunder in 7

Spurs over Pacers in 6

These are essentially the same picks I made in the prediction thread before the year began, save for some random first-round matchups. That's why I'm sticking with Indiana going to the Finals...pride. Otherwise, I'd probably have Bulls over Pacers followed by Heat over Bulls with Spurs winning it all in 7 over Miami.

Yes. Coolest bracket ever. This is the best the Pacers have done since the Reggie Miller era.

Sorry, kiddo but that bracket has the Pacers doing worse than they did LAST season. That bracket has them losing to Chicago in Round 2.

So,even by design, how is that the coolest? It is not because you replied on Good Friday

'GraysonColtsBoy', you are ill-prepared for what you will incur on this board when the Pacers fail to win the NBA Championship, less the Eastern Conference.

You started a playoff thread just to give a prediction of a "homer", when you were not ready.

God Speed.

Is there any team with more pressure, besides the Heat and maybe the Pacers, to leave their mark on this postseason than the Clippers? Two consecutive early exits and now after getting the hottest name in coaching last offseason they are expected to do damage. It really seems like minimum WCF or bust.

That worries me as a fan, just a wee bit. I hope they are just as eager as I am to erase the past 2 years. I don't want them to be the Colts or now the Broncos of the NBA. Amazing regular season(most wins in team history) with a flame out in the playoffs.

OKC. The "ringless" storyline will be starting up for Durant if they don't get it done soon, and he's a free agent in 2016.

I agree that there's pressure on the Clippers, though. At very least, this team needs to make the second round and give the Thunder a competitive series. Another first-round exit would make it impossible not to question CP3.

I hopefully will be attending Game 4 of the Wizards-Bulls series in D.C.

I'm a tad more skeptical of the Wizards chances then my fellow Wizard compatriots, but I have some doubts that the series will be a Chicago sweep like a few have predicted. I'm leaning more towards then conventional Bulls in 7. While my thoughts on him ebb and flow daily, Bill Simmons has Washington in the Conference Finals, which I find surprising.

Yes. This is the best season for the wizards since 07-08. Not a Wizards fan but I am a fan of NBA history.

Toronto shows up in droves to support the Raptors. Their GM says " :censored: Brooklyn!!" to a huge ovation.

The Raptors respond with an amazingly poor shooting %, tons of turnovers, and stupid fouls. Brooklyn, one of the league's worst road teams, laughs.
