Before the Romans, Trent was a Celtic village. In reality, the name derives from Trent, which is a tribute to the Celtic god of the waters (because of the river Adige). The Romans gave their settlement the name Tridentum and is a tribute to the Roman god Neptune Thus, I propose: Trento Tridents, or Trento Tide as a back up. Jake88 Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 If you are for real about making that many teams and logos, and trust me it will be hard to make ONE conference, much less a whole league, I'd give them more European names like AC (Athletic Club) or things of that nature. About half of the team names can be "Racers" or "Islanders", Americanized, newer style names. But if you are looking for a professional feel to this league and design in general, I'd try to make it sound real, and use some Euro style names.
