2001 ALMOST happened with the Los Angeles Xtreme winning the XFL and Los Angeles' old team - the St. Louis Rams - winning the NFC but falling to the Pats in Super Bowl XXXVI.

Both the Rams and Xtreme had Navy / Gold / White as their color scheme.

this thread gets silly if you just use a singular "color" (regardless of tone) as opposed to a scheme.

I'd consider something like the Cubs/NY Giants/NY Rangers/Pistons to be a match since you have predominately royal blue teams that use red as an accent color. They have a similar scheme.

While teams like the Sixers/Dodgers/Canadiens/Texans may use similar colors but the shades are different or they don't share the same dominant color.

To make it less silly, the Royals and Warriors are Blue and Yellow and won titles this year.

Royals have gold in their logo, but not anywhere in their uniform color scheme. Royals and Duke would be a more apt comparison
