So if you became a Yankees fan in like, 2002, don't list 1996, 1998-2000, among other things, but you can list the 2009 team. On the flipside, if you stopped hating the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013, don't list that team either, but you can include the 2010 team. For the former,*2014 (UConn mens and womens hoops)*2011 (UConn mens hoops, Manchester United and Giants)*2009 (UNC mens hoops & Yankees)*2004 (Again UConn mens and womens hoops)For the latter*2010 (Lakers and Duke mens hoops)*2004 (Patriots and Red Sox) trueyankee26.wordpress.com

FiddySicks
This year has been pretty rough with the Seahawks, Kings, and Spurs. God forbid the Dodgers win a World Series in October. That would pretty much be the worst sports year I've personally ever seen. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) 48erhater
The closest that ever happened for me was in 98. The Jazz lost in the Finals. And the Utah Utes lost the championship game to Kentucky.
Roger Clemente
A lot of my closest friends are fans of the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Bulls. Throw in thr fact that the Cape Breton Oilers pulled off the most dominant Calder Cup run in AHL history, and 1993 was a ridiculously good year for most of us. (I admit I was a Habs fan before the Ducks were born a week later. I always liked Michael Jordan, but I never had a genuine rooting interest in any NBA team until the Pelicans came along last year).Yet, the 2007 Ducks trumps it all, even if it was the only one of my teams to win that year. The Steelers Super Bowl wins in February 2006 and February 2009 kind of fed into a pretty positive three year span though I guess that doesn't count.Worst year? Probably the Kings win this year as they humiliated the Ducks along the way. As much as I hate the Patriots now, they thankfully lost their last two Super Bowls and I actually rooted for them over the Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX because I hate the Eagles more. The 2012 Kings win wasn't as bad as this as it was more like "Well, you've waited long enough, you kinda deserve one I guess". That and former longtime Kings athletic trainer Pete Demers was married to my grandfather's cousin and he finally got himself a ring and even got to celebrate in the locker room when they won it.The fact that the Halifax Mooseheads won the Memorial Cup in 2013 is a bitter pill as well, even though, ironically, I got to attend all but three home games of their championship season because I worked at the Metro Centre, but my discontent comes entirely from the fact they are named the Mooseheads. FrankCostanza
As far as loved teams it is tough to beat 1967, despite it being 14 years before I was born, but nonetheless The Leafs, Packers & Tiger-Cats all won their respective championships while the Red Sox came one game short. As far as hated teams, 2000 takes the cake. You have the Yankees, Lakers, Devils & Ravens (offical) all winning championships.

FiddySicks
2002 season for baseball and the 2002/2003 season for football would be the closest I've ever come to seeing two of my teams win in the same year, but Dusty Baker and Felix Rodriguez had to go and that one up. It's weird, I've seen the Giants win the World Series three times since then, and I still don't like thinking about that 02 series. bosrs1
Happened twice for me. Patriots and Earthquakes both won their respective leagues for the 2001 and 2003 seasons (though of course the Pats technically won in 2002 and 2004). Otherwise my other teams have never won it all.
