So I've been doing a few redesigns of community college logos lately which I placed in my other thread but after thinking about it for a while now I decided to start a new one since they're really not vintage logo updates (well the Delgado is but I still consider it a redesign). If anyone has seen these already in my other thread & feel I should just keep them over there please let me know so I can shut this one down. Thanks! First up is the Delgado Dolphins, as always C&C welcome.

If you're up for a challenge, I'd be interested to see what you can do with my alma mater, Bellevue University. Their athletic branding is usually terrible, despite having a cool mascot alliteration (Bellevue Bruins) and a solid color scheme (Purple & Gold - think Lakers).

Technically, it's a private university - not a community college - but their athletic department only offers 4 sports for men and 4 for women. They mostly compete in the NAIA, in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference which is effectively about as "small time community college" as you can get.

I just finished up one for Mott Community College Bears, which I guess can easily be changed to bruins. Will post it in a bit. Now that I think about it any of these logos can actually be used for other colleges that happen to have the same mascot just need to change out the name/colors.

My first thought when I read the title of this thread was "WHY?! It's community college...why waste your time?" But I'm so glad you made a believer out of me! These look wonderful!!

I just realized I used the SAME FONT for both Merced & Mott but I really like it for Mott so I will probably change out the Merced font later on. My apologies for that, totally missed it! Headed to work now so won't be able to change it today. This was the only logo I could find for Mott so I'm not sure if they have another official bears logo or if this is it. Does anybody know by chance?

Apologies for being the FNG. You guys are awesome and wanting to join to ask if anyone wanted to try my old team? Paris Junior College (Paris, TX). I know the coach and would certainly send it to him.

Paris Junior College (PJC)

Mascot: Dragons

Colors: Green and Gold.

Green has been more of a pine green in the past but a darker green has been used. They have also used black as an accent color (but I don't personally like that)

They use the current UAB Blazer logo for their dragon which drives me nuts.

I've always wanted them to have a clean green and gold Oakland Athletics type look. A mascot logo (like the elephant) but playing logo like the A. I like the current P but think it could probably be improved for a cleaner look. You could always skip the mascot and use the Paris, Texas Eiffel Tower w/Cowboy hat for the logo! From a marketing perspective I think the whole "Paris" thing sells better than "Dragons". Yea, and Eiffel Tower logo would be sweet.

Thanks for sharing the work you guys do, fun to check out.

If anyone is up for the challenge:

Good stuff, Ren. I particularly like the Bears. My only nitpick would be that the fin in the orca is almost too perfect of an oval so it almost looks like a football rather than a fin.

Great job, as usual, on all of these ren.

The Devils head (super clean), and the Motts Bears logos are exceptional!

Thank you all for the positive feedback, really appreciate it.

Jaha, I see what you mean, it is a bit to perfectly rounded. I'll go back in & reshape that fin & hopefully get rid of that football look. Always good to have another set of eyes look over your work. That's another reason why I wanted them in a separate thread, didn't think they were being seen over in my other thread so they weren't really getting any C&C to help me fine tune em. Appreciate the observation!
