For a guy who has no interest in college soccer, you seem to be posting a lot in this thread...posting more negative than positive. Please refrain from posting if this isn't your sport. I know you are just posting negative comments in an attempt to ruin this thread.

Did I ever say I have no interest in college soccer?

You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. Kind of a low-rent DG_Now.

Week 2 NSCAA Top 25 was released and here it is in it's glory. Yes a number of teams have only played 1 or 2 matches and it's early in the season. Biggest jumps are Creighton (with two home wins in three days), Indiana (with a good RPI this weekend) and strong open weekend showings by Seattle, Boston U, and Illinois-Chicago.

Week 2 kicked off on Monday with a small selection of matches but the biggest surprise of the week was Bowling Green winning 8-0 at home to Findlay with sophomore Pat Flynn scoring 5 goals in the first half, tying a school's single-match record. Tonight: only Top 25 match is Washington v Seattle...a good Cascadia match.

A Division I team curbstomping a Division II team at home is hardly surprising.

In Week 3 action:

#1 UCLA defeated #6 New Mexico 2-1 on Sunday. This was UCLA's third Top 12 team they have defeated in four matches.

#2 Louisville registers a scoreless draw with Ivy League team Cornell.

#3 Virginia rallied with a pair of second-half goals to down #18 UAB 2-1.

#5 Notre Dame with a pair of goals in each side of HT win 4-1 against Dartmouth

#12 Indiana continues on a great start to the 2014 season with a 1-0 home win tonight v Dartmouth

One of the clutch goals of the early 2014 season sees Buffalo's Russell Cicerone fired a shot from midfield that somehow snuck inside the crossbar and out of the reach of the Bryant goalkeeper to elevate the Bulls to a 3-2 win Friday night in double overtime.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm really liking what I'm seeing out of Syracuse this year. Another win for them tonight over Albany

The Orange have a strong squad this year, one of the deep reserve benches in the ACC.

Nittany Lions are unbeaten! Awesome!

It isn't that hard for Penn State to go unbeaten, especially in the Big Ten. The B10 is weak this year, was hoping more out of Michigan

The RPI must overrate Strength of Schedule and Road/Neutered Site performance.

Notre Dame moves up 10 spots on the poll to go back top spot in the nation. There are three new schools who broke into the Top 25 this week for the first time in 2014 (Xavier, Kentucky and Providence), Xavier being the highest of the debutants at #16.

You have 10 out of 15 posts on this page. Seven of which are just screencaps of rankings.

Please stop.

I'm sorry but if you have zero interest in posting something positive about college soccer then please don't post anything at all. People do post in this thread. If you want to police and bully people in these threads then please go elsewhere.

Let's stop kidding ourselves. This thread has become nothing but the same person posting screencaps and news that can be googled if one so desired. Unless there's going to be actual discussion taking place, this thread is going to be treated like every thread in the concepts forum that is bumped for no reason and be allowed to drop into the page 2 and beyond abyss.
