ColeJ
I started out making this as part of a Winter Classic/Stadium Series concept I was going to work on for my old Stars blog, but eventually scrapped it... With the Stars openly discussing the possibility of adding an alternate jersey sooner rather than later, I decided this would be a good time to show it off.I've got about 3 more potential alternate jersey design I'd like to see the Stars wear, and if I ever finish them up, this would be the place I'd post them... until then, how great would it be for the Stars to wear this a handful of games a year, for old nostalgia's sake? Before anyone chimes in with the "Reebok said they can't do that design" argument, if they made this last year, they can make this this year... 1clkgtramg
I'm sure every Stars fan has thought of/made a similar design to this, but the one thing that may actually limit this design is how height the logo has to be because of the star striping. I would lower the striping just a little bit so the logo isn't above the collar. I think the reason the Ducks jersey worked was because the logo placement remained the same and having a basic slanted stripe didn't offer much of a challenge than just copy and past on the Reebok template. The Dallas jersey is possible, it's just going to look a little weird in some places. John King
I love the direction, but in my opinion it doesn't flow well. I would change the primary logo to their alternative circular logo or use their wordmark. Just too many stars.
MrWonka
What if you accommodated the striping with the angle that the star logo is on.
LoyolaProp1
I think if you reangled the large star, it would look funny after thinking about it. Love the homage to the old Stars pants. Make the back number bigger. On the original jersey of this design, the number went far below the point of the star. Overall I love it though, but I'm a big fan of their current look as well (I think a simple black outline on the current numbers would go a long way). Can't wait for the season to see Spezza play. TheFuture
Simple suggestion: make the jerseys either black or silver. The Stars' primary home uniforms are already green, so making the predominant color on this concept any color other than green would help it stand out. Sean F&F
What if you ditched the star behind the D and used a bigger D that overlaps the star pattern on the jersey. Then you would lose the repetativeness of the stars but keep the general idea the same. https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder
Lights Out
Better than the Original 6 Dress-Up set they wear now, that's for sure. I'd love to see a white version. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
hockey week
Better than the Original 6 Dress-Up set they wear now, that's for sure. I'd love to see a white version. The franchise was established in 1967 and has had numerous classy looks of traditional striping. This isn't "dress up", it's "acting their age"I think the height of the stripes is too high, the points come too close to the logo. When there was a lot more to the logo than just the star, that was ok. Now that the star is the focal point, it doesn't work quite as well. I'll respect any opinion that you can defend. OhioSportsMan61
Solid concept, I did something pretty similar a month or two ago. I really hope Dallas goes with a design like this for their future alternate My Behance Portfolio --- Follow @Steinosaur19
