Roadrunner8ball
Hi all, I have been looking at the concepts board for a long time so I finally decided to post a concept. I was inspired by TheGiantsFan's series. So thank you. Without further talking here is the Dallas Dynamite. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e341/8ballblake/imagejpg1_zps1c6984c4.jpgPrimary Logo V 2.0 http://s42.photobucket.com/user/8ballblake/media/imagejpg1_zps8539dc9b.jpg.htmlC&C would be appreciated. Im only 13 so I would love tips on what do better.
PaperThin
Your photobucket is private.. and your copy and paste technique isnt working. Check out the Frequently Asked Questions thread in Forum Announcements.
Roadrunner8ball
It should work now.
PaperThin
Well now your photobucket is public, I can see it now.I'd remove the massive stripe. The logo also needs some work done. Its fine as a cap logo, but not as the primary logo. I would add a little more to the logo. Also, please design the entire baseball cap, rather than just showing us the logo with a different colored background.
newenglandpatriots
Get Inkscape or gimp they're both free PATS, BRUINS, CELTICS
PaperThin
Get Inkscape or gimp they're both freeNot everything has to be created on a software. Hand drawn uniforms are just as good as one created on the computer...
St Louis Cardinals
here is the concept:I'd get rid of the thick line underneath the back numbers #9 LSU vs. TCU
(probably)notabandwagonfan
I would make the pant and sleeve stripe thinner as well, unless you're aiming for more of a '70s or '80s look. If that's suppose to be cream on the bottom I'm not so sure it works. There isn't enough contrast between the yellow and the red to have a cream. kewp80
Yeah I don't get the big stripe on the bottom of the uniforms. I would scratch that. Leave that for hockey. I would just use some piping or put a dark outline around the wordmark. Or just have the cuffs, just get rid of the big stripe. I would also agree that it has a rather 70's 80's retro feel to it, which I kinda like. All that being said however, I like the logos. Clever idea with them being a lit fuse. Maybe on the cap logo, wordmarks, or both have the other end of the "fuse" go into a stick of dynamite. With the D wrapping around it or whatnot. Also, have you thought about printing off a template from the templates thread like TheGiantsFan did? I think it would help a lot with your presentation. On a side note: I'm kinda really liking all this hand drawn stuff that have been coming out. Just glad to see people who can't/don't know how to use design software not letting that hinder their creativity and imagination. I know I'm sure a lot of people on here, including myself, can say that this is where it all started for them. Keep up the great work guys! Cardinals -- Rams -- Blues -- Tigers -- Liverpool Check out my music!

Roadrunner8ball
Primary logo V 2.0 http://s42.photobucket.com/user/8ballblake/media/imagejpg1_zps8539dc9b.jpg.htmlI added a background and introduced black as a color. The updated jerseys and word marks should be up some time this week. Thanks so much for the C&C. Keep it coming!
PaperThin
I'd make the d bigger, as well as have a baseball in the background, like the Twins logo.
TheGiantsFan
Also, have you thought about printing off a template from the templates thread like TheGiantsFan did? I think it would help a lot with your presentation.Well in reality, I actually made my own template with jersey blanks mostly inspired the jersey database on the main site. Nevertheless, I'd be happy to post my template if you're really interested in doing so.As for the concepts, I like what you have for Dallas. Interesting color scheme and a good logo. However, I don't exactly dislike the stripe on the bottom of the jersey, as I did exactly that on my Abrii Triad concept. I just suggest not making it too thick. Also, feel free to use my thread for further inspiration! BEHANCE | PORTFOLIOÂ Â

mamiller99
It's kinda hard to see parts of the picture, you would be better off scanning it so that the viewer isn't looking at it on an angle. Great look though. That's what- She
