    That part I don't recall. Would make sense though. Yup..... With the delays in the renovation, Copps/First Ontario has lost the CeBL team (minor pro basketball) and the OHL team. Sounds like the Toronto Rock will come back but I don't even know if that is a guarantee. They've fumbled this so badly.

    That was a popular rumor at the time. You're remembering right. That was because Blackberry/Research in Motion was a massive company in Waterloo at the time. I don't think that rumor lasted once the renderings of the renovated Copps came out.

    I think that's cause of the neutral site game they played there. I can see how people would make that connection. But yeah, I haven't heard/seen anything from an insider so I'm assuming that quiet (when there are other things coming out) is for a reason. .........of course you know what happens when you assume! lol.

    No doubt in my mind that an NLL team can work in DFW. This ownership has messed up big time in many ways I too think a refresh with a proper city name, proper advertising and, a good team could make this a success.

    Fair enough. From my point of view: It seems really silly of the NLL to agree to a 3 year ownership agreement. I was just curious of the details of that agreement because it seems pretty low risk for the PCLC owners and I'm wondering if that's why they haven't bothered to spend money on advertising, ect. To your point something needs to be done for sure. Any games I've watched on TV, it's seemed like there's no one there. I looked at some attendance numbers and was shocked that the average is 3000. I thought it would be less. Their total attendance this season is less than 10 of the other NLL team's average. That's really bad news. The Bandits total attendance this year is more than 10 times of PCLC. Insane!

    I'm curious as to where you found this? I'm not saying you are incorrect. I just haven't seen that and am wondering where you got that from.
