  1. I was a little late getting started, (family visiting) but I’m working on the NCAA Tournament Bracket Wallpaper and  hope to have it out Tuesday, before start of the First Four if not sooner. :)

  2. Hello,

Do you still have the logos for the Las Vegas Spartans ? I want to use it in NBA 2K19 franchise on PS4.

    Thank you in advance.

  3. Yep, the circus that is the Arizona-NHL team debacle reared it's head again, this time in the form of the Glendale City Council voted 5-2 to terminate the lease to the arena the Coyotes called home. Why? Apparently because they say the Coyotes are in breech of the lease agreement; for the following reason(s): Source: ABC15 Arizona The NHL and the Coyotes are obviously not happy with the decision believing it to be a violation of the agreement and are preparing to take legal action. The city of Glendale claims wants the team to stay and offered the Coyotes the chance to re-negotiate the lease - Coyotes have refused. Multiple sources have said Coyotes are not moving out of Arizona - some say the temporary answer is a temporary shared venue with the Suns in Phoenix and then maybe build a new arena to house the Suns and Coyotes or one or the other. Here's the link to the B/R article on Coyotes Co-Owner on the Arizona Radio Show, Doug & Wolf My thoughts: This is crazy, Coyotes should move the team at least out of Glendale, the city officials might say they want them to stay but they sure have a weird way of showing support. I get it, they feel slighted but this seems like they've been out looking anything to claim the team violated the lease - when that happens the city official can say whatever they want, their actions dictate their true motives. 4. What the hell? I've been able to do this before, and the dynamic notification bubble never, ever, ever works. Thank you for bringing this up, as I'm experiencing the same problems. Same thing is happening to me. I eventually just cleaned out my nine pages or so of notifications. Yeah same here. It's actually kind of nice to log in and see that, but then clicking on and see it was a three week old post is a bit disappointing. I Will try to see if what Still Mighty suggested works for me.
  5. Nothing official. Did see an article in last June that the Warriors could still make their new arena hockey ready, but no word on if they are contemplating it. The city of San Jose really loves the Sharks, but the potential for a new, more lucrative deal could lure Plattner away from San Jose. So far though, he hasn't mentioned anything, just read it in a few news articles, including a Mark Purdy article, which I've found and you can read here. Make your own conclusion about the article. Also for S&Gs (or to ruin your day, read the comment section of the article - I personally find most of them hilarious - especially the ones about moving the Sharks to Seattle. Wait, maybe I shouldn't laugh I don't know if I could root for the Seattle Sharks that play across the street from the Seahawks. The last news I've heard was talks between higher ups at Comcast in Philadelphia and Bettman to the Sharks a better TV deal weren't fruitful/have stalled".
  6. I've been hearing whispers one of the reasons, (besides the Worcester bad attendance in the middle of Bruins country) is that this will ensure San Jose has a hockey team when the parent NHL club move to San Francisco, when the Warriors arena is built and be the San Francisco Sharks. (I've heard previously, rumblings of the Sharks looking to move because of a bad TV deal, but no real agreement on where). Now, a few years ago, I would have said that the Sharks are never ever moving to SF, but their lease at SAP Center is up, and they've got a bad TV Deal. I'm not saying the Sharks are moving to SF, but a lucrative deal that puts the Giants blocks from the Warriors and Sharks 10-15 blocks away would be tremendous for the city of San Francisco. While it's three different sports and the Sharks would be the only NHL team in San Francisco, I still don't know about being in a city with two other high profile teams and sharing a facility with at least one tenant. However with the 49ers down the road from the Shark Tank, and the A's contemplating moving to San Jose, it's hard to imagine the Sharks just packing up and moving north. Because then you have a NHL-ready building either housing a AHL minor league team or no hockey at all just sitting there across from Diridon Station. Capacity for Warriors new arena which I'm going to call Mission Bay Coliseum is estimated to be 18,000. Compare this to SAP Center at San Jose (17,562) and Oracle Arena (19,596). Anyway, just dropping some NHL "gossip"...
  7. Just saw that article on the Sharks. Yes, it might sound extreme, but in the big picture it really isn't. The way the team is releasing players and broadcasters and signing players, it can really seem like they are making decisions of team looking to skip town. Sadly unlike Baseball I'm too invested in the Sharks to seek refuge from another team and would still root for the Sharks (or whatever other nickname they use) regardless of where they end up - Quebec, Seattle, etc. Obviously speculation, but maybe closer than fans might anticipate.
  8. A photo set of the Band Lake Street Dive. Not sure if the font was created specifically for the logos, due to the tail connecting the "E" to the "L" in Lake. Also again with the STR. If this is a font maybe some one here might know which one it is. I know I've seen those capital rounded E's in a similar font before. Font or not, cool design., especially the circular logo.
  9. I think the key dates are the Glendale City Council meeting on June 25 and the NHL Board of Governors meeting on June 27. I haven't heard about any earlier votes on the lease. Thanks. Just was wondering when and if at all the saga that is the Phoenix Coyotes will come to end.
  10. I know the NHL wants to keep realignment in tact, but I would view Key Arena as a last resort move. I guess it would depend on the number of season there and how much revenue loss would accrue in the time from the first game to the team moving to their new arena. I also wonder if there's a Plan C and what that might be/entail. Any word on when we will know who's staying/going? I know some vote was to take place next week, but Bettman wanted it sooner, but that's the last I've heard of it.
  11. While I cant pretend to fully under this circus, I'm curious if it wouldn't be more beneficial for the city of Glendale to eat whatever remaining costs there are of the lease, kick the team to the curb and tell Bettman to work out his own problems. However I would suspect that he's got some kind of powerful jedi-type mind tricks going on. (aka some clause that prevents that from happeneing).
  12. Oh, something tells me they will find a way, a new story perhaps now it will be "It's okay it's just a flesh wound" Unless they want to muck up the realignment system it only seems fitting that they would try (and try) to keep then in Phoenix. But you never know.
  13. Well, the posts on the same page as mine were talking about Quebec and if the Coyotes move to Quebec realignment adjustment is not pointless. Though I guess until that it happens it could be seen as pointless. If this is where you are coming from, I understand that, if not - please explain. Just to clarify I was more confused about the Coyotes situation, though reading my article again I can see I didn't really mention that very well.
  14. I read the last few pages to this one and I think I'm more confused than I already was, and I was confused after reading a b/r article from March about what to do and where to send the Coyotes franchise. Sounds like Quebec City is the only viable option right now, but didn't Bettman just a little over a month ago insist (possibly even using the word promise - I'll try and find the article I read that in) that the Wings and Jackets will not be moved back to the Western conference, regardless of what happens to Coyotes? If this goes through I guess Colorado goes to Division A and Quebec City goes to Division B and the whole realignment is (somewhat) mucked up once again. Was almost begining to think Bettman had his head on straight. Yep, I'm confused.
  15. Sacramento from what I hear on the 5 minutes of news I watch here is attempting to get their act together, but it seems they are at best scrambling, and last I heard a few days ago, they proposed plan of public parking paying for the new arena was expected to be voted down, and that would all but doom them, but days before that I heard the Kings and Sacramento were ready to go - so it's hard for me to keep up. I know The Red Wings really want to be in the Eastern Conference, and while it would make for some great renewed and new rivalries, wouldn't that really damage the Western Conference in terms of ticket sales potential not to mention ratings. If I was in charge of the NHL and realignment - I would look at a MLB style of divisions where each league has West/Central/East type divisions. I don't know yet how I would divide them up, but would do my best to keep traditional rivalries in tact while maintaining a balance of power house teams in each conference. One I figure it out - I'll post it.
