  1. Love the name. Hate the logos. Minor league baseball has a lot of original and fun nicknames. Just seems like every logo feels the same. - Excessive amount of strokes - Beveled/shadowed fonts - Mascot combined with letter makes alternate logo (usually seems forced) Here's the hats
  2. It's crazy to see how graphics from just a few years ago already look very dated. This is really the only place that futuristic/modern designs work. Anything simple and flat would look really bad.
  3. This also goes in the "Players Without Douchey Haircuts" thread. (Well, as far as I can tell. There's still definite doucheability here.) I still don't know why Hamels would want to hit him with a pitch....such a class act
  4. The true excitement comes in 2013 (when the all-sport move becomes official)...if you thought the 'Nova-Temple rivalry was fierce before, wait 'till it becomes a conference one! Once again, two questions come up: 1. Which FCS school is the MAC going after to replace Temple for football? 2. Which school is the A-10 going after to replace Temple for all other sports? The MAC already has brought in UMass for next year. Replacing Temple's place in the East division. But does it really matter? the MAC is a joke
  5. This is photoshop, he NEVER EVER EVER played for the Sharks. WRONG
  6. Wow that text on the front of the ring is terrible. I understand with the shape it is difficult to fit all that on there, but how the text warps around the corners is awful.
  7. I'd like too see pictures of all the rings BEFORE the super bowl Here's the 1964 Browns NFL Championship ring. You can see some more of them here. That site also has conference champs and AFL rings. funny...steelers fans claim the browns have never won a ring... apparently we have!
  8. do you have a template for the helmets in your sig

    Mark

  9. I never liked these that much for some reason. Maybe it was the shiny material they used, or the fact that they changed their pants to black to accompany these jerseys. Considering that there is no black anywhere on these jerseys, except for the logo, that decision to replace the pants was pointless. And still baffles me today. when did they wear those jerseys? I sort of remember them, just don't remember why they had them. I love the old mighty ducks jerseys just because they were from the movie. Takes me back to my childhood favorites! Sadly since they did win a cup with the new black unis, I think they will stay with those now...shame
  10. Boo! Traitor! What a cowardly betrayal! I wonder if the Comic Sans font will be used in the new post-Lebron Cavs word mark Oh and vmd9...SCREW THE ROO!!! Go Flashes!!!!!!!!!!! Screw both of you! Youngstown State FTW! (Oh wait, Kent and Akron both forgot about our rivalries? Damnit.) yeah we don't care about Youngstown state at all...will always be the ankle-biters of ohio
  11. Boo! Traitor! What a cowardly betrayal! Comic Sans fits this perfectly. Tribute to Dan Gilbert greatest owner in the history of sports!
  12. I just think you have too many smalls schools that would never last in those conferences. Looking through the smaller conferences, there are a good amount that could move up based of success, fanbase, and facilities. I like the idea of having only 6 conferences. Looking at your list, these are the only schools with potential to move up: Boise State Fresno State Hawaii UNLV Air Force BYU Colorado State TCU Utah Akron Memphis Marshall UCF ECU
  13. Well we have one of the nicest stadiums in the country and will be building a new arena in the next few years. Success in basketball and rebuilding a football team with a new BCS coaching staff. We would not be competitive in the Big East for a few years, but we easily have the facilities of a Big East school. I'm not saying it will ever happen, but we are much better than the MAC and time will show that.
