I'm the biggest Maryland basketball fan in the world. As much as I care about the team's success over the uniforms, I have been waiting for today's unveiling for quite some time. I think it's an upgrade in a sense, but I am disappointed they didn't go back to the Maryland black/gold taxi piping. They could've kept a lot of the elements they have in these new ones, but incorporate the aforementioned piping. The S-curve on the shorts is so out of place and also the men's/women's teams don't have to share the same identity. I do like the alternate black/gold jerseys being a different template. With that said, I will probably say they are the greatest uniforms of all-time once we take the court haha.

Random opinion: but Hawaii and Cincinnati had much better uniforms with Under Armour, imo

I think they would opt for black helmet - gold jersey - and either black pants or white pants. Would love to see gold pants, not sure if they are in the cards for this year. Highly doubt they would every make gold helmets, but we've seen some questionable Maryland uniform sets before lol.

I hate Wisconsin - but a Under Armour fan - and I have to say those are money. Their best look since being under the UA brand. Speaking of UA ... Maryland basketball is set to debut new uniforms this year. They are in Itlay right now and didn't break them out; so I'm waiting eagerly to see the new look.

Hoping Maryland shows off all their sets of new uniforms. We've seen the red and white ones, I'm expecting a black version as well. Haven't heard anything yet about any special alternates this year.

Yes. We love our state flag (sorry it's amazing), but at the same time, the script is very unique and holds a lot of great memories as they've rocked it for periods of different generations.

Terps fans and players/recruits love it. Over the last 40 years, they've had some really good uniforms and some meh ones. This is on the top end, for sure. The Terps script is pretty cool and original. The jerseys and pants are kind of bland, but they match the helmet, which is key. As far as these go, I would love one of our experts on here to mock up what the sets would look like with added white and black helmets, and adding black and gold jerseys and pants. Also the basketball team is supposed to get new uniforms as well.
