Sort of a vikings-esque update for the Steelers here. Refined Logo, new font, matte helmet, and shoulder stripes that fit on the sleeve are added. A yellow alternate jersey is added that is similar in style to the throwback worn from 2007-2011. Black pants and and a black-based alternate logo go along with the yellow jersey.
I really liked the throwback uniform Southern Miss wore this past year, as did others around here. This concept takes the jersey from the throwback and adds a black version and a yellow version is added. The Logo is a slanted "USM" created from the wordmark used currently. The Helmets are both new. The first one is a black matte with a yellow "USM" logo, and the second is a yellow matte with a black "USM" logo on it.
Collegiate Baseball recently revealed the 2013 preseason rankings. Arkansas took the #1 spot, as the SEC accounted for 1/3 of the top 30. The PAC-12 and the ACC also made a strong presence in the rankings.
My Mississippi State Bulldogs (returning SEC tourney champs) are ranked #13 and are looking to have a great year. We have 2 preseason-All Americans and one of the toughest schedules in the SEC.
I've made this Steelers concept a few months back, but I never got around to posting it. I recently made the Seahawks and Cowboys to go along with it.
STEELERS
With the Steelers, I really didn't change much. I simplified the shoulder stripe and added a wordmark to the chest. The helmet is matte, and the yellow stripe has a steel pattern in it.
For the Seahawks, I went with a Seahawks stripe down the shoulder. It isn't clearly illustarted, but it's meant to look MSU/ Texas A&M like. The logo is the same, except for green replacing the gray.
For the Cowboys, I went with a traditional look. I originally planned to have a beveled star, but it didn't look right and I just went with a plain star. The ALT or "Throwback" in this set would be the current road unis.
Over the past three weeks ive been working on and off on these helmet schedule wallpapers for the NFL. Now that ive got them done, I thought i'd share them.
