I been ekeing out a Clippers concept for a while and found inspiration from their San Diego days. Not to sure about the placement of the word mark though.
Two years ago, I thought up of a new logo for the WWE since I felt (and still feel) the scratch logo has ran its course. Here's the Deviantart posts I made for the whole thing:
It was also the first thing I did while trying out Inkscape. I felt like revisiting it since the WWE Network logo made its appearance would probably would be the current logo if it had got off the ground this year as planned.
About a couple of days ago, I stumbled on Lukas's article on the Coogs new logo which compared it to Ags current. After looking through the comments, the wheels started turning and stated wondering what would a new T-Star look like since I agree, the Ags have a crappy bevel. Here's couple of one-color versions of it so far.
I was working on my portfolio when I started feel that my current logo wasn't cutting it, So I went back and did a redesign of it. The site name is the same as my name here so I used an monogram logo.
Hi. Ever since announcements about throwbacks and the new unis upon our arrival in the American League, I wanted to do my own take an Astros redesign. For inspiration I went to the 60's, 70's and 80's logos but I wanted to incorporate some of the more recent stuff.
Originally, I had to have the Dome and Minute Maid as part of the logo, but I thought the skyline got the point across. The shooting star is merger between the 60's and 90's and the patch and uniform versions as well as the racing stripes/fire arms use all three of the "warm" Astros colors.
