And now... we bring back a USFL classic. BAY AREA INVADERS YES THIS IS THE SAME TEAM AS OAKLAND BUT LIKE THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS, THEY MOVED TO SAN FRANCISCO BAY. Anyway the Invaders return with their Chargers like look and so why mess with a classic when I can add navy touches so I can use gold, blue, navy and white more.... and let's be honest nothing gleams in the Arena lights than several thousand people chant DIE! at the opposition... the Raiders of the USFL are back.

Here are a few ideas I have: NHL team name : Utah Grizzlies. You then have the current ECHL minor league team "Utah Grizzlies" return to "Golden Eagles". A blend of both histories. The other ideas - "Spikes". In reference to the "Golden Spike" which is in northern Utah, connecting the first Transcontinental railroads from the East and West coasts. Other name ideas: - Eagles, Reds, Moose, Whitecaps, Wolves, Rhythm, (for fun... Jazz Hockey Club).

Utah Yetis; Salt Lake Strikers; Salt Late Stingers; Utah Blizzard Eagles; Utah Icebirds; Utah Snowbirds; Utah Desert Eagles (if they can’t use Golden Eagles or just Eagles); Utah Snoweagles; Utah Yellowjackets (I could see Columbus rejecting this idea); Utah or Salt Lake Bison; Salt Lake Seagulls; Salt Lake Snowy Owls. Those are ideas I think would be alright choices. I hope this new team will at least use a unique colour. My choices would be either purple or a baby blue.

Throwback jersey, inaccurate but modern helmet? That doesn't make much sense unless it's the actual home uniform.

That’s a gorgeous, shiny finish on the helmet. I would still prefer the old robin’s egg blue, but that’s super nice. Not sure what to think of the shiny silver facemask. The grey ones they wore pre-Elway definitely weren’t shiny, and the white ones they wore after that definitely weren’t silver.

Remember last year’s draft? Every team had an original logo that looked hand-designed. Very cool, but I believe all were one-offs. This is probably just the Lions’ iteration for this year’s draft.

No. Frisco and Allen would be the top two choices I would think.

Looks like a pretty convincing leak came out for the Broncos, but I'm not sure if its actually legit. Metallic royal blue helmet, silver facemask, orange throwback jersey. Would line up with rumors about a throwback look too. As for the Jets, no complaints from me. They made the changes they needed to keep the look fresh and new. The small tweaks to the logo make a huge difference.

Move the Jazz to New Orleans and the Hornets to Charlotte and the Bobcats to Salt Lake City and the basketball to hockey.

The company for which Salt Lake City is a company town would not be happy. They've declared the word "Mormon" a "victory for Satan" and have gone all in on "Latter-day Saints."

I don't think we touched upon this, but Salt Lake City was the Golden Knights' biggest secondary market and now that's gone, along with most of the rest of the Intermountain West that they'd been allowed to squat on. I believe the Golden Knights and Coyotes were both working with Scripps for their TV, so it's possible they get their games into Arizona now. -
I wouldn't mind them wearing colors like this. In fact, Utah Phoenix has a nice ring to it - Maybe a dark forest green instead of Navy?

What are people feeling for colors? Green and yellow like the Eagles? Will this annoy the Minnesotans?? Something purple to tie it to the Jazz? Seems we'd be the only purple squad. I've always felt green and orange was an underused "Utah" color scheme, but I understand how it could be more polarizing.

For now, yes. There's a reason that Mark Cuban sold a majority ownership of the Mavericks to the people who own the Sands Casino, with him retaining a minority share and control of basketball operations. Cuban hopes that the sale will speed up the legalization of Casino Gambling in Texas so that he can build a new arena that is the centerpiece of a hotel and casino in the DFW Metroplex. But for the time being, I suspect that the Dallas PVF team will not use the American Airlines Center.

I have decided to retain what I have for Emirates, Delta, and JAL, after testing out larger helmet decals. I don't even wanna make the decals outrageously large like what's done for MOST college football teams nowadays... Regardless though, thanks for all the comments in this series so far. I fully appreciate it.

Y'all are never happy. One minute y’all love the chargers uniforms then y’all want them to change it back to the navy blue from the 90s. next y’all complain about the 49ers not having the correct amount of stripes then y’all complain about it needed to go back the way it was. Then the Bucs stepped away from their time clock numbers, and y'all want them to go ugly 70s kitchen orange again. Just STOP! Not everything old is good. Some things don’t need to be brought back. The Jets finally went back to one of their best-looking sets and log, and here you all are on day one complaining.

Devil's advocate - what do fans know about design? Do you end up throwing too much at the wall because of so much input? If it's anything like radio research, the focus group consists of a bunch of people who are there for free food (or money) and will give answers they think will please the people asking the questions. In other words, it's useless.
