Well some people's concepts are awful and need help. Some people get the piping, yet on their concept, it still sucks. I don't understand it.

dude, your concepts just arent clean. i know i could say the same about myself , but you could at least clean it up a bit.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again. The only limits in MS Paint are the limits you place on yourself. Here's some stuff i did in Paint before Illustrator came my way:

also, the arc tool (to the right of the line tool), is probably your most valuable tool in Paint.

I need help. When I get a template from here I can't colour it. The reds are grays and blues are grays and basically everything is gray. I want to make a concept but I can't because eerything turns gray! Can anyone help. BTW this only happens when I use templates.

go to edit then select paste from then select the template

You can LAYER, just save every one with a different name.

And paste with transparent background...

Or:

1. Save the template to your computer.

2. Open the saved file.

3. Select All.

4. Copy.

5. Open new MSPaint file.

6. Paste.

You should be OK, and your color palate should be true to what's in your color box.

It happens with a lot of files (not just templates) where the colors don't translate to MSPaint well.

And save it as a .png file - it alters your colors the least and takes up less space than saving it as a .bmp file.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again. The only limits in MS Paint are the limits you place on yourself. Here's some stuff i did in Paint before Illustrator came my way:

this makes absolutely no sense to me. Did you draw these then scan them and clean them up in paint? If your doing this 100% from scratch in paint than i gotta say dude, you are a fluffing God.
