Captain Poncho
Jiffy Lube sent out a survey to me with a redesign proposition as part of its "what does John Q. Public think" about possible new logos.Thought everyone might enjoy seeing the concepts.
HurricaneDavid
They really put a SURVEY together for this?I'm glad they put a shear on the current logo. Now I can tell they plan on moving forward.Really though, the "J" and "L" are more identifiable in the current logo. The "L" isn't really noticable in this one. BlueSky
Based on what they've done to customers, they should have incorporated this into the new look:
BlueSky
They really put a SURVEY together for this? That's very common. They want feedback from customers before making a change. In the 1960's, before American Airlines changed from this to this, they tried several alternatives. One I've seen a photo of had only red and blue fuselage stripes that were wider because there was no middle white stripe, and no eagle on the tail, just the letters AA. I'm glad they picked the current scheme, which has turned into a classic and looks as good today as it did in 1968.
