I know that a lot of you have been coming up with some Miami Marlins cap logos to use for when they move. I figured i would share my concept with the rest of you. Tell me what you think. C&C is appreciated. I also want to let you all know that this was made with MS paint. I am open for suggestions. Thanks

I think a logo similar to this is the way the Marlins will go, but a few things about this bother me.

-There is a bp Marlins logo w/ the "M" on it, but it only has one stroke on it. All the strokes you put on is somewhat distracting.

-I think the Marlin should face the other way. Most logos face to the right.

-You kinda changed the sail on the marlin. I think that is the best part of the logo and it would be better if you left it alone.

Of course, those changes really just bring you back to the bp logo...

Edit: Nm about the sail thing, you used the marlin from the primary logo, I was thinking of the cap logo, which has a different pattern.

Not bad, I think the use of the marlin from the primary helps it a lot, as opposed to the current cap marlin, which as I have said many times before, looks wrong next to anything other than an 'F'. I don't think it matters that the marlin is facing left either, because if they keep the current primary, the marlin faces left anyway. It could represent the backwards, but successful, way of operations the Marlins utilize lol.

Not that this really matters, since it's purely (my own) speculation, but the fact that the marlin is facing to the left in the existing primary logo may have something to do with the shape of the state of Florida...

...just saying that, as a native Floridian.

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

i actually think that the marlins should keep the same script they use now. I personally love it it is one of my favorite in the league. I think they should just change their cap logo to something similar to what i have and then just make a script with the same font they have now that says Miami on the road uni's. I think a logo like this could make a smooth transition for the club instead of having a complete overhaul of their current sets.

The Marlins should ditch the teal, black and grey and go back to the International League Marlins Orange & Royal from 1956-60. And screw the New York Mutts. They don't deserve exclusivity with those colors after the way they've misused them!

Amen, brother. I love the color scheme and font and I don't see why ANYONE would change it..I truly hope they don't. I think the M is done perfectly, it's EXACTLY what I'm expecting except I expect it to point to the right. don't fix something that ain't broke, best league color scheme, don't change now!!! I'm from boynton beach too haha, I guess there's something in the air here were both breathing!

Angels' font = No.

I agree no to the Angels font, but those colors might work. I was always thinking the Marlins should have an original color scheme, and this might be the best thought I've seen so far.
