They're both not bad in my opinion.

I like the Men's logo...it's simple and symbolic, but not in a busy way.

And the Missouri Valley Conference called their championship tournament this year "Arch Madness." I think it was part of the logo that was on the floor of the Savvis Center.

It seems a shame that the Women's game will be played in the RCA Dome, instead of Conseco Fieldhouse. I mean - not only have people called Conseco the greatest baskeball facility ever built, but some say it's the best sports VENUE ever built...

Apparently size DOES matter...

:P

Maybe with the popularity NCAA women's basketball has been getting lately, the NCAA has decided that both Men's and Women's Final Four will only be played in domes. AFTER this year, because aren't the women playing in the arena and not the Superdome?

I love teh ST. Louis logo I guess next year March Madness will be Arch Madness.

Ooooooh. Good one. How come no one from St. Louis came up with that?

They did, in 2001. The Women's Final Four was held there and IIRC, they used the "Arch Madness" moniker in the logo itself. I'll do a Google search and see if I can find the logo.

EDIT: Here are the future WFF sites till 2010 (info courtesy ncaa.org)

2004: New Orleans Arena (Host: Tulane University)

2005: RCA Dome, Indianapolis (Host: Butler University and Horizon League)

2006: Fleet (Bank of America?) Center, Boston (Hosts: Harvard and Northeastern)

2007: Gund Arena, Cleveland (Hosts: Cleveland State and Mid-American Conference)

2008: St. Pete Times Forum, St. Petersburg FL (Host: Univ. of South Florida)

2009: Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis (Host: Missouri Valley Conference)

2010: Alamodome, San Antonio (Host: UT-San Antonio)

As you watch more basketball, you will learn to appreciate the difference between "defense" and "couldn't find the rim with a pair of bloodhounds and a Garmin."

Actually, the MVC has been using "Arch Madness" for many, many years, at least 10 to be sure.
