My (Personal) Football League Redesign

(Without having gone to refresh my memory of all the other concepts) this is probably my favorite one in the series. Just great rendering of the indian (could nitpick but like dgn said, doesn't matter too much) and the dreamcatcher. Not REALLY a fan of the font, speciically in the dreamcatcher logo, the T looks off. Love the little pattern too, great job.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I'm glad you guys like it for the most part. Ironically enough, according to the same teams I've made on Madden, Topeka is probably one of the worst teams record-wise, but yet it has the best looking logo set according to you guys.

JH42XCC, I don't really feel it to be too necessary to rename the Grizzies; it is a fantasy team, and it's hat that name for 4-5 years already, and I Wouldn't want to tamper with a growing, solid identity. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I'd have to say, I think this is the best concept of the series so far. The colors are really great together and give a distinctive look to Topeka. The Indian logo is flawless, and that Dreamcatcher logo is absolutely briliant. It may help that I grew up near the Navajo reservation in southern Utah and therefore have a fondness for dreamcatchers (as many are made and sold in the area), but I honestly have to say of all the secondary logos you've done, that Dreamcatcher one is my favorite. It could easily pass as a primary and be one of the BEST primaries, its that good. And the uniforms are unique and really stand out with the tribal designs and such. The custom wordmark is also incredible. As I've already said, best work of yours so far. GREAT job!!

The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right.

As a Topekan I love the Topeka Indians concept. I would love to see the local arena football team switch to something as good as these uniforms. Great choice of using a Shawnee indian considering the fact that Topeka is located in Shawnee County. The only thing I don't like is the shade of green, you might try using the same green that is in the Topeka city flag. I think this would brighten it up a little, the current green just seems depressing.

#16 Charlotte Prowlers

Up Next: #17 Las Vegas Crows

With these last few concepts, I've tried to pay attention to detail and improve on the secondary logos, and this one is no different. As you may (or may not) know, I'm a HUGE Carolina fan, I was born there and grew up as a fan of the Carolina Panthers and UNC, so this concept may seem a little biased. The Charlotte Prowlers are a team modeled after the Panthers of the NFL, but I tried to create some individuality of some sort for this team. The colors are charcoal, Panther blue, and silver with touches of grayish-navy (that's as descriptive as I can be).The primary is a roaring black panther head outlined in cyan. I've had alot of trouble correcting the perspective of the mouth and cheeks, and this may not be a logo that's completely finished. The primary is a profile image of the secondary, a full-bodied roaring black panther. The tertiary is only used on the collar, as it's a simple C with three scratches(which is also used for the numbers). The script, made of a custom font, is of the same style: Charlotte Prowlers in silver with scratches. The uniforms are as follows:

Let me know what you guys think. By the way, still taking any name suggestions for the teams with asterisks here. Thanks!

Just to echo the previous sentiments... the full body cat is very nice, but the whole logo set is mint. Obviously, significantly influenced by the Panthers.

The one thing I would be interested to see is, on the shoulder stripes... maybe sculpt the front of the stripes to mirror the line/seem of the jersey. I am not sure how it would look, but I think it would give more of a fitted looked as opposed to stripes stuck on the shoulders.

The last 2 concepts have been sick. Really looking good. Can't wait for more.

As always in this series, I love it. I do however, have a few nitpicks. I love, love, love the full bodied panther logo, but I feel that the feet could use some more definition. Also on the Panther head, it looks like his cheek is full of food, maybe try and tone the cheek down a bit. For the script logo, I think you should move the claw marks on the 'S' down to the bottom. This way all three claw marks can be seen, and it makes it a bit more consistent. Lastly, I think you should make the claw marks on the alternate numbers black. Something about having cyan claw marks on a cyan jersey doesn't look right to me. With all of that said, this is one of my favorites so far. Keep it up, I'm loving this!

Expanding on Limericks comment...I agree, the full body panther should be primary. It's compact enough and complete enough where it could pass, and it's sweet!!

I understand your reasoning for making the stuff look like the Car Panthers, but honestly the primary on the helmet looks like someone erased the detail from the Panthers logo and shoved something else in it's place.

The full body one is more unique, but you could find a way to alter the Panther head logo, especially it's borders, so that it doesnt look like a cheap-redo. It can still be BLATANTLY a Panthers nod, and still have it's own distinctive edge, you know?

Also, the uniforms are okay to me. The number claw marks are awkward. The helmet stripe is interesting, but not my taste.

But overall--another sweet design. As much as I just criticized above, this concept is one of the best I've seen in a while.
