Toledo could be worse. At least there is no piping, well at least in that pic.They didn't really have a choice, they've gone to a new seamless jersey that Tennessee and Notre Dame are also experimenting with and there just wasn't a way to put both stripes and numbers on the "sleeve." It's a variation on the NFL jersey that the Giants wore last year.Guess that makes sense. Still don't like it though.Also don't really like the change Army is making. If they switched that up with piping, it may look a little better. It took them a few changes each year to go from the orange and blue only jerseys that looked terrible, but they finally got it right last year. Love this.I can't believe I'm just catching this now...but Tulane has never worn the action "T" logo with a white helmet. The current logo has always been worn with a green helmet. This year, the pictures from recent practices have the Greenies in white helmets. Looking at several message boards, including a Tulane fan site, this looks like it's going to be a new helmet for this year...which is a welcome change since, up until 1997, Tulane had worn white helmets in every season except maybe 2 from what I can gather.
