Now that is what I call the final version. I know some people could do that much better, so I will be happy to see different logo concepts. There are always people who like or dislike what you do. Though good critics are helpful in the process of advancement in creating sports logos. Learning by doing...

The whole idea is just well executed IMO. Tampa Bay desperately needs an update and I feel this concept could fit.

The only thing I might add is that it's hard to distinguish is the Olympian crown. I thought of biscuits for some reason... -_-;; but otherwise perfect

Nope, not feelin' it. The identity of the Tampa Bay Lightning ties in with Tampa Bay being the Lightning capital of the world. Zeus has nothing to do with it. Nice try, but NO.

The thing on his head, whatever it's called (the name escapes me at the moment), looks off, its like it bends at the sides of his head and towards his forehead instead of wrapping around from the sides to the back of his head as it should look and the beard looks off as it gets higher up on his face.

It was nice seeing the evolution of what you started with what you have now. That's an impressive way to manage taking what people give as feedback and developing rapidly. Thanks for sharing, too. I'm not necessarily in love with the execution, because it faintly reminds me of the Mavericks logo save for Zeus instead of the horse they use. But I think this is certainly creative and not a stretch as far as what they could do.
