One thing I really wish the Saints would change is the goofy looking font used on the helmet rear bumpers. It's a small thing, yes, but using the wordmark font would look so much better.

Looks a little like the Colts font.

This with a black outline (and no white in between) would look a lot better.

When you have a nice, distinctive wordmark, why wouldn't you use it?

EDIT: Ha! Never compared the current wordmark to the original, which is in my avatar (pic of a flattened popcorn container from Tulane Stadium). They're different.

Giving this a massive bump.

I've really felt annoyed about how I've stopped concepts recently. I think I've finally gotten some inspiration, and hopefully that can be up soon. I also may go back and use a refined template in the near future, along with attempting to improve my presentation.

PLEASE, if you have any ideas on how I can make my presentation better, let me know. It would really mean a lot if somebody gave me an outside opinion on this.

This is great news! I loved this series.

A pretty big change here. I tried to combine the best of each era and create a clean, attractive, and patriotic look for the Pats. I made the helmet white, used the

Bledsoe Era numbers, the 1993 pants, which mimic the logo, and the exclusion of silver, being replaced with white. Just in time for the Fourth of July! C&C as always please.

These are perfect. Please don't change a thing. I wish these were the actual Patriots uniforms.

Thanks! If somebody points out a design flaw, please let me know, I'll update it if I agree.

Add the sublimated stripes they used to have and your Patriots concept would be perfect.

Oh these? God awful! They look so un NFL, like they belong in soccer or something. Nope ^_^

The Patriots is amazing! I've always hated that ugly silver helmet.

The silver (and red facemask) just made the set look dirty in a way. And, since you have to have white, the silver/white dilemma is just infuriating.

look at DeFrank stepping it up! i think the Pats look great. very well done

as for the presentation template, what you're doing now is fine. i have no problem viewing a uniform on a plain white background. take a look at Brian Gundell and Davidson's Jets brand guide or my baseball presentation for ideas though

Wow thanks! Coming from you, that means a great deal. One day I'll get around to making a presentation template, but for now I can't worry about it. When I do, I hope to include the same type of style I do with my "Team Info" link. When you click on the teams name (on the first page or above), you can see a little style sheet.

Ok, on the Pats stuff... it's got a really nice base, but there are a few things. Someone pointed it out a few weeks ago on here, but when you put helmet striping on a forward facing logo, like the Flying Elvis, it appears to be restricting it. I'd lose the stripe (that doesn't match anything else in the uniform) and increase the logo size.

As far as the uniforms, I don't think the 90s font is... significant enough. It's just too thin. In the past they tried to cover it with that giant ass drop shadow but without it you can really tell.

I also think the team needs navy pants, if nothing else to play with on the road, and my suggestion for the striping would be to JUST put it on the mesh under the seam. Then you could possibly add the unofficial NE logo to the hip.

Finally, the collars all appear to be inconsistent. Only on the whites do the backs of the collars appear to match the fronts.

This is more or less what the Pats should look like. My suggestions would be to fix the collars, change the navy to their old royal blue, and maybe move the jersey Elvii to the shoulders. As much as I love the old sublimated stripes, they wouldn't work on a ProCombat template, so you did the right thing by leaving them off. Well done!

Yeah, there's nothing about the Patriot uniforms that I could possibly complain about, although I'm assuming that the facemask is colored navy-blue? Other than that I'm glad you didn't go with the other elements from their 1993-94 set, like the drop shadow, sublimated stripes, and the Flying Elvii on the shoulders. There were some good elements of those jerseys, but looking back on it, they were somewhat of a trainwreck and far too dated. You cleaned up their look from that period very appropriately and make the elements fit into a modern template rather nicely. Definitely one of your better efforts.

Great job man! I really like these. The Pats look WAY better without the silver. Good job on the pants stripe too. I agree with bruschimania that you need some navy pants for the road, at least as an option. I'm also not completely sold on the number font...I'd like to see what these look like with their current font.

I wanted to resist the navy pants, but it seems to be a recurring question. I just want to prevent a dreaded Red over Blue or Blue over Blue look. And concerning the number font, it just looked very plain with block numbers (and I hate the Pats current number font)
