Every bit of design sense is telling me I should hate this yet I love it. Those colours really work with the black and since the NHL is so high on script logos why not use the fishsticks era wordmark on the front?Islanders UpdateThis on the other hand is awful. The striping is generic, futuristic, RBK crap and that wordmark should never be used on the front of a jersey. Im tired of these football designs being shoehorned onto hockey jerseys. When people say to slow down, you need to heed their advice. A good concept can take days to create. Draw something up, then look at it and ask yourself if it is something you could see a real player wearing. If you couldn't, then try to fix the issues.Your main problems seem to be rushing, not doing proper numbering (either forgetting them somewhere, wrong size, bad font choice, etc), and strange placements for logos, numbers, names-on-back and wordmarks.Which ones did you like from this and then the gradient pinstiped awesomeness that was from the before time. Stop that. It looks fugly as hell. The mets and knicks looks ugly with black as it is. Words can not describe how you shat all over the fisherman template, which i actually liked when they overhauled their identity. now i love fisherman, i love concepts where fisherman is brought back and modernized. It's a good start for an alternate. and that other one, just looks like ass. I hate jerseys with wordmark and numbers on the front.
