missouri tigers
I wouldn't mind seeing them bring back a blue and orange color scheme either, as long as they use this-

andrewharrington
I wouldn't mind seeing them bring back a blue and orange color scheme either, as long as they use this-This is a great cap. Using the modern technology, I think you could do an orange beveled star and then pop the H out with the 3D embroidery technique. tommytimp
Please, please go back to some variation of these, new (old) logo package and all:They want to add an orange hat, socks and undershirt as a variation, fine by me. I love the Rainbow, but I realize not everyone does, plus it would look a little too 'Bingo Long' as a button-down... cajunaggie08
I noticed they've recently been wearing their road grey much more often but instead of pairing it with their primary black cap, they've been wearing it with their saturday rel alt cap. Its not a bad look.As far as a new look coming, i hope so. The look the Astros adopted when they moved to Minute Maid has been fully embraced here in Houston. You still se a very large number of fans wearing navy and orange as opposed to brick and black, which happens to be the colors of Drayton McLain's shipping company. Theres no official word that there will be a change, but if it goes back to Navy and Orange or Navy and Gold, it will be supported

Will Milwaukee have to change their colors up if Houston goes back to navy and gold? Or can they co-exist with the same color scheme?
Jungle Jim
It is being discussed in this other thread, but since we're discussing it here, I'll repeat what I said in the other thread. A slight modernization of this uniform (perhaps redoing the shooting star somehow) would make my year:The blue version was great, but the orange set the Astros apart from all other teams. There are (and always have been) too many navy teams.

Although FWIW, I think the Brewers belong in royal & yellow and the Astros in navy & orange. In fact, my dream Astros look might be the 1994 unis with orange replacing gold. cyandlux
I just don't see that late 90's stuff fitting in with the "retro" stadium. I think that's why they changed to something that matched their home field. I hate it, but I think that was their thinking. Honestly, I don't think they have ever hit the nail on the head. The early stuff was close, the blue/gold was good and the new one is cluttered. Maybe some kind of mix, but get rid of the cursive fonts.
