Predictably, even this hit a snag when the Beej briefly hired the former host of Hollywood Squares instead.

OK, then Chicago gave Anaheim a handjob and Nick Bonino did a money shot all over Corey Crawford in the shootout. Is that what you wanted to hear?

Here is a design I did sometime last year for a redesigned Oakland Raider logo. The design is not a complete departure from the current logo. It still keeps the main elements (shield, swords, old style helmet). The main difference is the smiley face being replaced with a skull. I replaced the Raiders name with a thinner more spaced out font. I always thought the type in the current logo seemed way too heavy. There is also a simple secondary logo using the sword which I think could work well on apparel and various other branded materials...

This is pretty much spot on. That uniform is miles ahead of the crap the Pens wear now, and as long as Mario owns the team, there is virtually no chance the Pens ever re-adopt athletic gold.

Saying something like that is only gonna draw more attention and hate to yourself. With that being said, I don't think he's completely off-base. Of the major North American sports hockey is definitely considered the "whitest". While there have been black players that have had success in the league, they are all what some people would call "white-washed" (Jerome Iginla comes to mind). Most traditional hockey fans think that players taking pictures like Kane's in Vegas and shaving intricate designs into their head belong in the NBA or NFL, not the NHL. While most hockey people aren't racist, there are certain racial tendencies that come up (I constantly here analysts talking about Kane's "swagger", yet I rarely hear the word applied to white players; similar to Russian players and the word "enigmatic").

I don't agree. They are too tight. Anyone even a little overweight will not be flattered by these. T-shirt versions for $15 will be the way to go. Is this what you would fear?

I'm likin' 'B', lance. The only change I'd make would be to put the NOB above the back seam. You've got a lot of room up there now. Nice job.

I'm not sure if this guy has been named yet but I think Doug Williams should be on this list. He went from third string QB for the Redskins to a Super Bowl MVP in the same season. If that's not a come up, them I don't know what is.

As a Vancouverite the Grizzlies look never clicked for me. Teal works when you're an aquatic themed team (see, Sharks, Dolphins, Marlins). But for a team named after a bear? Not so much. And for getting it right first, the Canucks did pretty good the first time. Yeah, the logo is not a masterpiece, but the overall look just works. They had a good, unique colour scheme for their league. We went though a couple of decades of constant uniform tweaks and two additional colour schemes just to realize we got it right the first time. Now, I'm not opposed to modernization though, I actually prefer the modified stick in rink.

That's pretty close to what I'd do... but, is that gold piping down the side panels? If so, weird choice on an otherwise traditional look. Ick. (I'd also strongly consider a gray facemask... mainly just to annoy certain members of this board )

So the phillies are gonna throwback to 1991, while the dbacks throwback to what 1998? Yea that makes sense...not, I prefer my throwback games to have both teams wearing what they wore in the same year.

I didn't mind Arkansas' uniforms even WITH the gradients, but without them, they're right up there with UK for best uniforms in the SEC, IMO. The razorback-inspired striping could be iconic if they keep it from now on. Hell, I'd like to see them work it in to all their sports. Their basketball team's current Indiana ripoffs have never looked quite right to me, considering their recent modern football uniforms and what the hoops team wore in their glory days.

I have no issue keeping field hockey. It's a real sport with objective scoring criterion set against a clock. My issues are always with the non-sports like dressage and rhythm gymnastics. The entirely subjective sports that have nothing but a few judges producing scores out their asses. Isn't dressage just horse dancing? Pretty much. I'm surprised they haven't added straight Dancing with the Stars style dancing as an Olympic sport. They've added just about every other kind dancing and dancing like non-sports to it.

Maybe this is a personal pet peeve, but it should be a capital D. Otherwise, why aren't R-N-A-U and the other D lowercase? These exceptions make no sense at all to me. If a letter that normally would be lowercase is uppercase in every other instance, why would the first letter be any different? Or the E in De ROSA, etc, etc.

Leave it to adidas to come up with something that could potentially catch on and then present it in a way that it can't be taken seriously at all. The color difference between shorts and shirt is unacceptable, even if people argue that it's just the flash of that camera or something. This is the NBA. And the pinstripes on just the shorts? Why? Wasn't there enough "new" going on here? I admire the thought process, but damn, at least make it look professional. I wonder how this would've been received if they did it on the Spurs' gray alternates, or the Thunder's Navy/White alternates.

Completely disagree. They're some of the best threads on this site. And anyone should be able to post a new thread regardless of how many posts they have. I don't mind "themed" threads like "Favourite one-offs", but a flat-out "logos I don't like" thread is pretty predictable, redundant, and uninteresting to read. I will admit I don't fully understand the nuances of these sites, I just like to read the opinions and follow the rumors. That being said, if you don't think a topic is interesting, can't you just not read it? Obviously some people think it is interesting.
