I also miss the gold but was never a fan of the mustard gold Nike was using. This was much better --

Colors are very important. I could color swap the Jags right now to purple and black and they’d look exactly like the Ravens, or to green and white to look exactly like the Jets, or to midnight green and black to look exactly like the Eagles, or to navy and red to look exactly like the Texans, and so on. I could also color swap the Packers right now to make them look damn near exactly like the Browns, Chiefs, Vikings, Bears, etc. The Giants comparison is rather weak, imo, in that the jerseys share nothing except for non-outlined numbers and they aren’t futuristically designed. Other than that, they have very different features and colors which make them different uniforms. The Jags don’t need to put wordmarks in their stripes or use shiny plastic textiles on the shoulders or wear Jaguar print for the uniform to be individual.

And here's my favourite team. Inspired by the 1995-99 Hawks and the current Bucks statement jersey. I don't know whether you love the hawks set or not, but I know several jersey collectors who love this set very much... In my opinion this set is one of the most iconic one in 1990s NBA, along with the Raptors and Vancouver Grizzlies. Since Ravens' font/wordmark is similar to the hawks one, I think this will fit into the hawks set. However the logo's shape is more similar to the current bucks' one, so I try this concept, with no team's name on it. Looking forword to C&C!! Thanks for reading!! Edited on 4/24: Add a non-gradient away jersey

i still like the white jersey best, but you’re right in that the team has redefined their identity. we expected teal, black, and gold but they simplified the palette and they look like a new team - and i dont think thats such a bad thing. they dont have a great history to uphold and teal is the fan favorite; why not just use gold as a splash color that only shows up in logos? the details are getting lost here too, they have a sock design no one else has, theres trim around the pants and sleeves and they have a unique design around the collar. oh, and they ditched the wordmark from the front of the jersey which is probably my favorite decision of all. the Jaguar logo is a bit goofy but its better than their wordmarks and i hope that sets a trend, taking all the wordmarks off the jersey

Upon a recommendation from my friend, CS85, I made the switch to Imgur* a while ago and I've never looked back. Imgur is easy and it works. What more does one need? *Despite all appearances to the contrary, this was not a paid endorsement of Imgur or any of its subsidiaries. Celebrity voices were done by impersonators.

Agree completely. I would have loved teal, black, and gold instead of black, white, and teal, but I’m ok with it. I hear a lot of talk about they are generic and don’t have any features that separate them as Jaguars uniforms... Not true at all. They have unique collar stripes and sleeve stripes. They have unique pants and unique socks. My only gripe is the away not having any teal. I like the look, but some teal would make it look more “Jaguars” to me.

The Prince of Wokeness gets caught out of position, the Avs score on a 2-on-1, and the Perds have their hams utterly burgled.

New York Giants anyone? Tom Coughlin sure loved his old team's unis. When they said that he was going to share his input, I didn't think that he was going to repaint the giants uniform

This is going nowhere productive anytime soon. KingKongTom, please post concepts that you have put significant effort into and that resemble a finished product. Lack of an advanced program is not an excuse for shoddy, thrown-together concepts that utilize templates that are not remotely designed for their use -- many designers on this forum have produced good content without use of such a program. If you are using Paint, consider checking out our thread of Paint templates.

These are nice football uniforms, but they don't really portray the Jaguars correctly. When going ultra simple, you need to have at least one color that "pops". Without gold, black makes teal( a vibrant color on it's own) appear very dull. They have a great design that could work very well with some different colorways , but here but it feels as if they stopped mid-process and decided to use an unfinished product. I've tried making a mock-up of what I mean. Original: My take: What I did: -Added outlines; -Made all Nike logos gold for better color balance; -Added a thin gold line between black and teal on socks and around the neck. I've changed nothing major. All of this still keeps the uniforms very traditional designwise( which is what I think is the thing they were going for), it's just that the colors here are used as the tool that makes them have character. They were a few quick fixes away from having a great uniform that is in line with how the fans view the Jaguars. I do think that they'll look great on the field and have already grown on me a bit, but like a lot of redesigns in the past few years it leaves a lot to be desired.

Hi! Not new here but it has been long since I finished my last concept... And now back with a NFL to NBA concept. First I want to thank @R3G for his amazing nike NBA template! Very user-friendly. The 1990s NBA jerseys seem to be controversial because of it's colors and details, and I would like to see how the NFL teams can fit into it. Since the Eagles unveiled their current set in 1990s so I decided to start with it. Inspired by the 1992-95 Hawks set and 1997-2011 Wizards set, which both have single-sided stripe and similar curved jersey logos. May back with the white/alt or I will start another new team. C&C is always appreciated!! Thanks for reading!! Edit: Lists: NFC East: #1 Eagles / #4 Giants / #21 Cowboys NFC West: #11 Seahawks / #17 Rams NFC South: #14 Falcons / #20 Panthers NFC North: #8 Vikings(v2) / #12 Lions / #19 Bears AFC East: #7 Patriots / #10 Dolphins / #13 Jets AFC West(finished): #5 Raiders / #16 Chargers / #24 Broncos / #25 Chiefs AFC South(finished): #3 Colts(v2) / #6 Jaguars / #22 Texans / #23 Titans AFC North(finished): #2 Ravens / #9 Steelers / #15 Browns #18 Bengals

If you can't learn to take constructive criticism, you'll never make it as a "designer". I don't see anything you did that makes it "edgy". You roughed the edges of the inner circle only, added a gray inner shadow, and made the top V section closer to the bottom W so they're only separated by a thin gray line. How does that make it edgy? Yes, your logo is clearly different than the original. But you did nothing to improve over the original. It looks like you took the original, applied Photoshop filters to some of it, then called it a day.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. Color is a very important part of the uniform/brand. You could also palette swap the Jags into a close match for the Raiders, but nobody would confuse any of the three for each other with their real colors (Jaguars are pushing it with black & white, admittedly). If everybody has to come up with a completely unique template, you'll end up with garbage very soon. The helmet has enough gold. The jerseys are stuck this way for five years. Some gold and teal stripes on the pants could really bring the whole set together the way the Giants' uniforms work. Also, I really wish the swooshes near teal collars/sleeves were gold instead of teal. After watching that Twitter video, the embroidery teal is not a great match for the jersey teal.

Well 5 years from now when they’ve won more playoff games in the last 5 years than the entire rest of their history combined, they’ll look like the Jaguars to you. Sound good?

Have just finished the full set. The alt is inspired by the Chris Webber era Kings set (because of similar wordmark, lol), so changed the design a little bit. C&C appreciated! Edit: Add a 1970s throwback. To be honest I don't know much about the uniform history of Eagles... Since I have seen many kelly green and silver/grey concept on the board, decided to finish one. Nothing too fancy just want to keep a clean look for them.

That's because their previous uniforms weren't good in their own way, and these aren't good in a different way. Ohmygosh I know right? So crazay!

On the topic, I think the new Jags jerseys are swell. I'm getting old and cranky, so I'm happy enough with a uniform that isn't distracting at its core. Simple is fine.

Exactly. By the letter of the law, teams should not be permitted to mix and match pants since they can only have “one home uniform design and one road uniform design” and it is explicitly specified that the term “uniform” includes helmet, jersey, pants, socks, and literally everything else a player wears that is visible. What the Rams have done is also explicitly counter to these rules as written. I have to assume they obtained a waiver as described, but the fact that they were granted permission to change such a large portion of the uniform and the club colors, but not the jersey shows where the enforcement line is and what the priorities are. Even if they had to retain the St. Louis home uniform as a third for a few years to not upset the retail pipelines, the best resolution would have been to grant them a waiver to fully accommodate their color change, even if that meant wearing Penn State hand-me-downs due to design timelines. For whatever reason, they weren’t, at which point they probably should have abandoned the white plan, or replaced their throwback with a full blue and white third uniform if they felt that strongly about it (Now that I think about it, whichever of the two color schemes becomes the primary home and road look, I hope they utilize the other for the third). I wonder if they were given a choice: Change only A and C, but not B, and you can still do your full redesign when your building opens... Change A, B, and C now, but you have to wait five years to do the full redesign.

Such an improvement. Im curious if you swap the black and gold on the number outline would it be even better? More like the nunber outline of the original Jags uniforms.

I don’t mind the Flames using black, but 1) it should never eclipse gold and 2) the black flame C is incredibly stupid.

Personally, I would have gone with this one.

The Flames using black or not never bothered me. They've had great looks with both. I can see why people don't like black, and they want the cleaner, more "white hot" look of just red, yellow and white. I can also understand the case for black, adding some weight to the uniform and being reminiscent of smoke, charcoal, (oil? ), and such. What is way more important is fixing the awful design of their uniforms. Get rid of the flag patches, fix the awkward paneling, etc. They made it halfway by ditching the piping with the Adidas switch over, It's not hard to finish the job.

Um... then, like, idk, maybe press “ctrl A” then “ctrl +” on your keyboard (numlock +, not the other one) and then do lettering and numbering. If that doesn’t work, get a new program. Please. Not for my sake, or anyone else’s, but yours. Too many people have been ripped to shreds on here for failing to listen to suggestions given to them by people who’ve been doing this stuff for a while, and I suggest that maybe it’s something to take into consideration when literally your last concept was just a jpeg of a bear that was the 4th thing off of google, a ripped madden logo, and fill bucket tooled uniforms. Also, if you want to get good at MS paint and post stuff you’re genuinely proud of, that’s cool too! I really admire people who know the ins and outs of that program tbh, and those on here that use paint keep working at it keep getting better because they pride themselves on the content they create. I hope you feel the same way about your content.

Here's my take on the Penguins: Pittsburgh doesn't have to change their uniforms anytime soon. But for this concept, I modernized their look by throwing back to their original Vegas Gold triangle design. I opted for a lighter design, simply using a set of two stripes. What do you think? C&C Appreciated!

"The change in logo for the German automaker is because the new management thinks that the automaker's appeal globally is 'too German' and unemotional. Incidentally, the 'too German' part has always been the core communication of the Volkswagen brand in the past across all forms of advertising " I guaran-damn-tee you that their next logo will be some sort of a squiggly, scripty thing that is evocative of a signature. It will contain a color (probably light blue) and make the viewer more likely to crave a seltzer water than buy a car.

Rockets in black with a few red accents versus the TWolves in gray with no color... In the playoffs. Having trouble posting the actual image, but look at what this matchup once looked like... Nike has been horrible for the NBA. The entire league is one big muddled brand. TOO MUCH GRAY. TOO MUCH BFBS. TOO MANY ALTERNATES. And a whole lot of fumbled rebrands. At least my Cavs will wear wine on the road this year.
